Hey all beauty geeks!!! Makeup always has an incredible power to transform you. Though nothing can beat the inner beauty and confidence, makeup does wonders to the overall charisma. If nothing else, it gives you the assurance that you look groomed and presentable 😉 My first purchase was a kohl and it remained the only item in my stack for many years. However, the more I explored makeup, the more I fell in love with. Looks like everybody’s story, Isn’t it??? 🙂 Today I bring you another first of mine – A blush palette.
About ELF Studio Blush Palette:

Great for contouring, shading, sculpting, and highlighting, these silky smooth blushes create a beautiful pigmented glow. With a mixture of complimentary matte and shimmer finishes, you can achieve a professional look every time. ‘
Price : $6.00 for 4g.
Ingredients: Not mentioned on the website, but on the packaging.
My take on ELF Studio Blush Palette in Light:
Blushes have always had a dreamy effect on me. ELF Studio Blush Palette in Light multiplies that effect incredibly. The palette, as stated, has lighter colors of the blush family – pinks and corals. There are four generously sized colors in the palette – three completely matte and one a little shimmery. There are two shades of pink – a matte soft pink and a matte rosy pink. The third color is a matte golden/bronzish brown. I was really confused by this color as it can’t be used to contour the face as its too warm. However, this can be worn to add a bit sun-kissed look to your face. And the fourth color is my FAVOURITE of all. It is a true coral shade with slightest bit of shimmers. The shimmers are not visible on the face and give an almost matte finish to the skin.
Texture: I can easily say that the blushes are among the creamiest and smoothest blushes I have ever used. If you pick too much of the blush, it might appear powdery/chalky but the moment you blend it on the face, it becomes a second-skin.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is great. You just need to tap your brush to get the amount you need for the application.
Staying Power: Stayed on me for 5-6 hours.
Packaging: The blushes come in a black square box with a humongous mirror. The size of the blush pans is decent. And also if you look closely, you will figure out that the pans can be popped out for a custom-built palette. However, I found it hard to pop them out and feared that it might break the blushes.
What I like about ELF Studio Blush Palette in Light:
- Assortment of colors.
- Fresh look of shades.
- Good pigmentation.
- Creamy and smooth for a flawless application.
- Very blendable.
- Long staying power.
- Will suit lot of complexions.
- The colors are different from ELF Studio blushes. So no repetition 😉
- Very affordable.
- Travel friendly.
- Sleek packaging.
- Huge mirror in the packaging.
- Not tested on animals.
What I do not like about ELF Studio Blush Palette in Light:
- May appear chalky if used a lot.
- Chances of getting clown cheeks if not light-handed 😉
- Swirling the brush causes a messy pan.
- Unavailability in India.
Final Impression: Love the palette. Looks like it will be my ‘go-to’ palette for travelling. Surely pick this up for affordable and good quality blush palette. Recommended!!!
