Faces, as a brand has always been my favourite as they are always up for some cost effective yet gorgeous makeup products. This is truly an underrated brand Being an eyeliner freak, I am always on the lookout for some great gel eyeliner products as it is multitasking product.
I have tried MAC gel eyeliner (too costly for me) as well as Maybelline 36 Hours Drama gel eyeliner (one of my favourites) but when Faces launched its own Gel Eyeliner under the Ultime Pro range, I had to get it. We, at Wiseshe, have already done a first impression on the Faces Ultime Pro gel Eyeliner and now its time for the review. Dig in to know what I feel about this!
How to use:
Just like normal gel eyeliners, apply all over the upper eyelid. It comes with a brush for easy application.
It comes in a small round pot with a black cap, which is quite handy and easy to work with. The shade name and info of product is mentioned at the bottom of the pot. It comes with an inbuilt applicator at the top of the opening, which is apt for making thin to a thick line, so is great for the beginners. And yes, the packaging is great for travelling as well.
Very creamy gel like texture. It doesn’t dry out within a wink like other gel eyeliners and so gives you time to work on it. Very appropriate for beginners.
The pigmentation is jet black but definitely not the blackest. It is not as pigmented as Maybelline 36 Hours Drama Gel liner or the Loreal one.
It stays on for a long time. For oily eyelids, the staying power can be a bit less but for normal eyes, this will last for 7-8 hours.
The Faces Ultime Pro Gel liner has a creamy matte texture that doesn’t irritate the eyes. It is apt for sensitive eyes and can be used in 3 ways – gel kajal, gel eyeliner and eyeshadow base. This gel liner will be a favourite for smoky eyes lover as it is easy to blend and create the look. The texture is really creamy and so doesn’t need any tugging or pulling. Overall, I love the gel eyeliner from the Faces Ultime Pro range.
