Oriflame Feminelle Gentle Intimate Wash

Have you seen this movie ‘As good as it gets’ ?? Remember Jack Nicholson in it with his obsessive compulsive disorder and mysophobia? If not, you must. It’s a fun ROM-COM.

I am to some degree that way; minus the misanthropy (Thank God for small mercies) I have this OCD for hygiene and mysophobia for any sort of germs. I am very strict with myself when it comes to personal hygiene and take all measure to assure that feel clean. I must be washing my hands atleast about 50-75 times in a day (no exaggeration). I like to have shower twice a day. Well I have been criticised for my habits, but that’s the way it is.

Oriflame Feminelle Gentle Intimate Wash Review_As good as it gets

For personal hygiene of the intimate areas I have started my regular Brazilian Wax and I ensure I use an intimate wash atleast twice a day to keep the vaginal area clean, germ free and fresh.  I have been using various brands of intimate washes for years but now I have zeroed to Oriflame Feminelle gentle intimate wash.

It a translucent liquid almost the consistency of a hand wash. It has a mild fresh fragrance. It comes in a pump bottle, again like a handwash.

On lathering up it foams a little at the time of use. It can be used anytime of the day, any number of times.  It leaves the vaginal area clean and fresh. Doesn’t irritate the skin. Maintains the PH balance.  It’s clinically tested.

  1. This is appropriate for intimate area wash. But that doesn’t mean one keeps washing that area more than twice a day. Actually Indian toilet habits require use of water… and that is enough on regular basis. When you use soap, shower gels or even these washes everyday ..you change the pH of the vagina. This allows pathogenic bacteria and chlmydia to flourish and increase the risks of STD infections if you are sexually active !So use extremely sparingly [ like during periods] and only when advised by the doctor !
Secondly, the writer confessed she has OCD like requirement for hygiene….use of shower gels/soaps however mild cleanses away surface skin abcteria. if you are going to wash your hands so many times you wash away good bacteria which in turn decreses your immunity. Infact, washing hands after using bathroom/toilet is most important- 5- 10 secs scrub with soap.Washing hands before eating and preparing food is another imp thing. If you take care in correct manner…you wouldn’t have to worry. Overwashing is an recent malaise and is bad for your skin and hair !

    • even my gynec was saying do not use intimate washes unless your doctor has prescribed them… the chemicals do more harm in the long run… she said weak saline water is the best to wash….even those which say ph balanced are totally unnecessary to the body….. its just a marketing gimmick for something that you don’t even need…
but i do use lactacyd during chums.. 🙂

  2. Bo, am worried for u. Mild OCD can be overlooked. But washing hands so many times a day signals a disorder that requires treatment. Hope u take it in the right sense dear. Seeing a doc will really make a world of difference to ur stress levels
