Fitness Secrets Of Salma Hayek

Beside the killer looks, she is also known for her curvy and perfectly toned body. She has the voluptuous figure that everyone in the world desires, a perfect hourglass figure which measures, 36-24-36.

So on today’s post I’ll be sharing some of her fitness secrets.

Hit the Gym:

  • Rather than very long stretches, Salma believes in short bursts of intense workouts. She does workouts for about 30 minutes every day.
  • She gives emphasis in kick boxing, pilates, ball work and strength training. She also swears by alternating pushups and squat thrusts.
  • Jump squats, triceps, dips and other posture training workouts are also favored by her.
  • She is a yoga girl too. Yoga refreshes her like nothing else.

Hit the kitchen:

Salma Hayek is an emotional eater, which means she turns to food whenever she is stressed. Good food is her stress buster. She loves her traditional Mexican delicacies and indulges in them whenever possible. But then again, she doesn’t forget to keep an eye on her weight. She burns the junk in the gym.

She says, “”I’m not a skinny girl. I push it. I’m at the limit of chubbiness at all times, but I’m happy at all times. Everybody has a weakness (and) mine is food. If you love food and you love red wine and they put you in France, you’re in a good place and you’re in a bad place at the same time. You have to weigh yourself every day, and you have to have an alarm number. When you get to that number, you have to start putting it in reverse.”

A few days back she revealed her secret recipe of her favorite juice.

Ingredients: 3 Carrots, 1 Apple, half of a Beetroot and 1 Lemon

Make juice of these and drink the nectar whenever you feel like. She is following this since the last 20 years and the result is n front of us, Salma Hayek herself.

She never forgets to detoxify her body in the morning and for that she chooses carrot and apple juice.

She adds, “Juicing brings me back to centre if I wander too far into the Parisian lifestyle of wine, pasta and cheese.

Organic fruits and vegetables cover my nutritional bases, but I never shy away from healthy fats, like almond milk — they are so good for skin.”

Other than food, she includes lots and lots of fresh fruits in her “diet”. She munches on this fruit and that fruit whenever she feels like.
