Ways to tame frizzy hair
- Stop over styling
Overstyling your hair can result in a frizzy and not so good looking hair. We love styling our hair but before styling, we should make sure that our hair is healthy enough. Styling products take off all the moisture from the cuticles of the hair resulting in frizzy and lifeless hair.
- Avoid hair products with alcohol
- Wash hair with carbonated water
Carbonated water is CO2 infused water which is also popularly known as Sparkling water or Soda Water. This has a low pH level which tames frizz of hair caused by environment and humidity. Use it as a final rinse of your hair.
- Pamper your hair
Pampering your hair is the ultimate thing to do when you want to take care of the tresses. Always make sure to air dry hair instead of using heat. Use a wide tooth comb to brush your hair when it is dry. Also, makes sure to use a heat protectant spray whenever you are going out of the house. Avoid towel drying your hair as it causes friction resulting in frizz.
- Protect your hair from sun damage
We use sunscreens for our skin to protect it from the harsh rays of the sun but what about our hair? Our hair gets equally damaged when it gets exposed to the rays of the sun causing dryness, roughness and frizz. We advise using an umbrella, scarf or a hat to cover your hair.
