Gobi Rice in 15-20 minutes.


If you are tired of eating aalo gobi every day and are not interested in frying your gobi then this recipe is for you.It is a north Indian cuisine recipe which is yummy and requires your daily aalo gobi sabji ingredients only.

Ingredients:-(serves 2)
Cauliflower cut into florets (7-10)
Raw Potatoes(2medium size, cut into cubes)
Salt(as per taste)
Turmeric powder(Haldi)1/4th tsp
Cumin seeds(jeera) 1 tsp
Red chili powder(1/4tsp,You can increase/decrease the powder according to your taste)
Coriander powder 1/4tsp
Garam Masala(1/4 tsp)
Kitchen king masala(optional)
Green chillies (2 small chopped)
2 chopped tomatoes
Uncooked rice 1/2 cup
Ginger paste 1/2tsp
Water triple quantity of rice
Oil (1tbsp)


1.Take a pan and add oil into it.

2.Add cumin when the oil gets hot and wait for few seconds for the cumin to sizzle.

3.Add cut cauliflowers florets and raw cubed potatoes into it.

4.Add all the masalas and mix it nicely for few minutes.

5Keep the rice in water for 10 minutes and wash it of thoroughly before hand and then add it into the allo gobi.

6.Add water and mix it all.

7.Cover the pan for 15 minutes or more and check if rice are cooked.(Rice gets cook according to the quality of rice so it may take more or less time as well)

8.Your gobi rice is ready to eat.

Serve it with green chatni .You can also have it with hot chapatis,puris and parantha.
