Grandma Secret Hair Oil Recipes That You Must Try

Hello people,

When we talk about hair, there are mainly two types of girls, one who have strong desire for gorgeous hair and the other who work hard to maintain their gorgeous tresses. Markets are flooded with a huge variety of hair care products that claim to make your hair beautiful & change them miraculously.

Long fine and limp hair care

Well do MIRACLES actually happen? No they don’t, we definitely cannot have Rapunzel like hair with a shampoo that claims to have vitamins and looks creamy. But the ugly truth is that the commercially sold hair care products with tall claims are laden with chemicals. Of course I am not talking about organic products here! Ohhhh. Organic products are super expensive and are not a long run solution for girls running on a budget, so for many people even organic products cannot prove to be the ultimate solution.

You should definitely not lose hope as I am here to share the ultimate solution to achieve beautiful hair. How about some Grandma’s tips or as many call them Dadi Ma Ke Nuskhe! They always work don’t they? At least for me grandma tips have always worked. They are cheap, natural and very effective. Grandmas have always emphasized on proper oil massages for hair. Curry Leaves Hair Oil

Dry some curry leaves in the shade, this will take a day or two, alternatively you can dry them in microwave for quick drying, however I always prefer natural shade drying method. Boil 100 ml of coconut oil and add a handful of dried curry leaves to it, turn off the heat once done. After it cools, filter it and use the oil to massage your hair & scalp. This oil not only prevents hair fall but also prevents pre-mature graying of hair.

Kalonji & Fenugreek Seed Oil

fenugreek seeds

Kalonji, also known as Nigella Sativa, and Fenugreek seed oil are great for making hair silkier & shinier. They also are effective in promoting hair growth and preventing split ends. Grind 1 tbsp each of kalonji seeds and fenugreek seeds in a food processor. Take a glass bottle and fill it with 100 ml of olive/coconut oil. Add the powdered kalonji and fenugreek to the oil. In a pan boil water, once water reaches the boiling temperature, turn off the flame and put the glass bottle in the water. Let the bottle stay in water until the water has cooled down. Keep the bottle in sunlight for fifteen days and then use this oil for scalp & hair massages twice a week.

Dandruff is one of the most common hair problems. Well our grand moms had a solution for this problem too. Dry few neem leaves in shade. Boil 100 ml of coconut oil, add the dried neem leaves to it and switch off the flame once done. Let the leaves remain in oil for a week for better infusion. The oil will turn green in color post a week. Filter the oil and store it in a glass bottle. Apply the oil on your scalp, leave overnight or for a minimum of half an hour before washing hair.

Hibiscus is well known for its properties that boost hair growth. Dry 15-20 hibiscus flowers in shade. Heat 100 ml coconut oil or any other oil of your choice, just ensure not to use the processed oils. Add the dried flowers to the oil boil it for few minutes and switch off the heat. Let the flowers remain in the oil for around two days. Filter the oil and store it in bottle. Apply this oil thrice a week. Applying this hair oil will make your hair healthy and promote hair growth.
