In my last post I shared some points on nausea during pregnancy. Today I will be talking about vomiting and some of the remedies which woman can adopt to ease of the problem.
Though morning sickness is one of the most expected sign of pregnancy and most pregnant woman experience it either at some point or at various degree and intensity. Though if vomiting occurs occasionally then herbal remedies can be used but if it occurs at a severe intensity then it can affect the child and one should consult the doctor immediately.
Below are some remedies which can ease of the problem:-
1. When you leave your bed in the morning wash your face first. Take a glass of lukewarm water and squeeze one lemon in it. Drink this water empty stomach for few days. This will help in vomiting.
2. If it is hot at the place where you are living then drinking chilled water also helps in vomiting.
3. Drinking lemonade, orange juice and nariyal paani (coconut water)helps in curing vomiting.
4. You can such one ice cube also. This too helps in vomiting.
5.Get plenty of fresh air and open windows when inside, weather permitting, every day try to spend at least 20 minutes outside with nature in the early morning or late afternoon sun this does wonders.
6. Avoid people who agitate your mind or create tension. Try to be in company of those who are calm and with whom you like to spend time with.
7. Try deep muscle relaxation exercises, yoga, meditation, visualizations and imagery work, light distractions (such as watching an engrossing drama, comedy or musical, reading a good book)
8. You can even take help of homeopathy medicines too. They do not have any side effects and would keep you and your baby safe.
