Himalaya Walnut Scrub Review –Scrubbing is a vital part of my beauty regime and without scrubbing twice or thrice in a week I feel incomplete.I have tried many scrubs and I  keep changing them as I get bored using one thing after a while.:P.I some how find walnut scrub the best and this is because they are considered herbal and gentle. So this was the reason I got HImalaya gentle exfoliating Apricot scrub for myself.

What the product claims- Himalaya Herbals Gentle Exfoliating Walnut Scrub gently exfoliates dead skin cells to remove impurities that routine cleansing cannot tackle. It contains Crab Apple, as soothing antiseptic and keratolytic agent to help loosen dead skin fragments, Walnut shell granules to scrub away dirt, blackheads and dead cells and Wheatgerm Oil, a rich source of natural Vitamin E. These natural ingredients cleanse, nourish and moisturize your skin to make it soft, fresh and radiant.

Keratolytic agents is a peeling agent which helps in shedding and softening the skin.

Wheat germ oil

Wheat germ oil is a highly rich unrefined oil that is one of the richest sources of vitamin A and D. It also has a high content of proteins and Lecithin. This oil is widely used for external application, as it helps a great deal in getting rid of skin irritation including skin dryness and cracking.

Price of Himalaya Gentle exfoliating Apricot scrub is Rs170 for 175 gms.

How to use to scrub –

Moisten face and neck and apply, avoiding area around the eyes. Massage gently with fingertips in a circular motion for a minute. Wash off and pat dry.

My experience with the product :-

1. This product makes my skin feel fresh and alive.
2. It is moisturizing and my skin doesn’t feel dry after using it.
3. It cleanse my pores and one can actually feel the tiny walnut shell particles while using the scurb. All in all it exfoliates well and keep skin moisturized.

Can you see the harsh granules  of the scrub ?

Don’ts There is something which really makes me irritated by the product are its harsh granules. With this it has some annoying smell which turns me off. Infact after using it for a week or so I was not able to tolerate its smell and gave on it completely.

Will I re-purchase it again – No I am going to buy Fab India pomegranate scrub which Anamika was talking about.I think it is a good product with nice ingredients but its harsh granules and funny smell makes it fall too low in the ranking.

Rating – 2.5/5

  5. Dear Friends,

First, Anamika is looking likes very beautiful.

Take some 5-7 Almond (cut it into peaces), a lemon, 5 Tea spoon Honey, mix all this. Pack it in a bottal for 3-4 days. After that, apply this on your face through cotton at day and night. You will get amazing shining, healthy skin in few days. Also it will remove scars from your face.

I tried it on my face for 1 months and my 70% marks are gone without any side effect. which was still after using a lot of products.

Try you will get better result then you thinks.

    Parveen
