Homemade Hair Conditioning Packs

Hair conditioning becomes very crucial if you have dry, frizzy hair like me. The pollution, stress, harmful UV rays damage our hair and make it more prone to breakage. Hair can get even more dried out and damaged from the use of heat styling tools, dyes, chemical straighteners.

Thus in order to keep your hair healthy, shiny, well conditioned, a deep conditioning hair mask regularly is very important. So today we will be using natural hair conditioning ingredients straight from the kitchen or nearby store. These will help you get rid of dry, frizzy hair and give you silky, smooth, lustrous tresses.

Mayonnaise and Egg mask

Mayonnaise has eggs and oil which gives shine to hair, make them strong and add extra protective layer of moisture. It can be used as many times as one want as it is free from any kind of chemical. Take mayonnaise in a bowl and add one egg in it. I don’t mind adding egg yolk also. If you can’t tolerate the smell then add few drops of essential oil in it. Mix both the ingredients and apply it on your hair. Cover your scalp too with the mixture and wear a shower cap. Leave it for half an hour and rinse off with lukewarm water.

Olive oil, Coconut oil and Egg white

For centuries, natural oils have been used to condition human hair. Both these oils are very effective in moisturizing the hair and conditioning it. This mask will suit people of every hair type and condition. To have shiny hair, mix 2 teaspoons of olive oil and 2 teaspoons of coconut oil and warm them up slightly. Whisk an egg white and mix it up with the oils. Then apply it on your hair evenly, spreading it all over from roots to the lengths. Leave it for an hour and a half. Then wash your hair off with lukewarm water, make sure you use a mild shampoo.

  1. i do the 1st mask all the time i guess almost every weekend i just i replace honey with lemon juice that suits me …. the effect is amazing just very smooth bouncy happy hair. But yes u have to blend banana to really smooth fine paste else it would be stuck in between your hair. In case it does get stuck let your hair dry partially then apply a leave on serum and try to comb your hair with a thin bristle comb … all the banana left overs would come out immediately.
