Hello lovely ladies…there are two things in my life which provide me comfort in this scorching heat- one is my AC and second is this lovely forum called Wise She. Browsing Wise She, I forget all my worries and tensions and just enjoy the best of Indian Makeup and Beauty Blogosphere.
Today’s review is about Hope Girl Milky Balm Lipstick in shade no RD 104 Red Burgundy- it is special to me for two very solid reasons the first being that it is a gift from our dearest Anamika for which I can’t thank her enough and secondly it is one of the best red lippies that I have ever come across- formula, pigmentation, staying power, shade- it is a winner in each front so read on to know my views regarding this lippy.

My views on Hope Girl Milky Balm Lipstick in Red Burgundy:
As I have already mentioned the formula is to die for. It is creamy and insanely pigmented you just swipe it once and you have those picture perfect lips with the required intensity of the colour. In my opinion this will compliment a lot many ladies having Fair to dusky skin tones. This is a very wearable shade of red- neither too loud nor too OTT types.
As the name itself suggests yes this is a combo of balm as well as a lippy. The texture of the lippy is creamy, soft and glossy. It glides on your lips like a dream, however don’t forget to use a matching lip liner or else it may bleed from the corner of the lips. It has a floral smell which disappears soon so it is not an issue with me. The packaging is travel friendly and yes different from plain cases of other lippies that I own.
Now the best part of the lippy- its staying power. It stays for good 5-6 hours on my lips and even after it fades it leaves a pink stain behind which also stay for about 2-3 hours more. As some other bloggers have commented that this one is the star product of the 10 minutes Memebox and yes this one really is.
What I like about Hope Girl Milky Balm Lipstick in Red Burgundy:
- Amazing pigmentation.
- Lovely colour- and the result-perfect red pout.
- Compliments a range of skin tones.
- Awesome glossy and creamy finish.
- Great staying power.
What I don’t like about Hope Girl Milky Balm Lipstick in Red Burgundy:
- Non availability in India.
- May bleed from the corner of the mouth if lipliner is not used.
Rating: 4.5/5, 0.5 marks am deducting for the price and non availability issues.
Shall I recommend it?
A big yes- Moisturised lips and glossy shine along with the perfect red pout what else could you ask for?
