Cauliflower is quite prone to tiny insects during summer and rainy season. These insects are rarely notice by us while cooking it. To make sure that cauliflower is free from insects always soak cauliflower in warm salted water. All you have to do is take half water filled pan and add 1tsp of salt (cooking salt)in it. Let it stay in water for 10 minutes so that all insects get killed.
After getting cool you can put cauliflower for 2-3 minutes into the cold water. Putting in cold water will not make the cauliflower mushy. Dry it up with clean kitchen cloth. Cauliflower is free of insects and is ready to be cooked.
