How To Look Good In Photos | My Travel Makeup Tutorial
I am back after my vacation and still catching up with the “No-holiday” phase these days! 😉 :-p Well, today I am here to share few things on How To Look Good In Photos even while traveling because when you are on a trip, you are particularly short on time as you need to do a lot of things like sight seeing, getting ready for the day,in a short span! Obviously at home you have your things at one place and you can just sit back and get ready quickly! While if you are traveling you cannot practically carry everything in your luggage!

Talking about only makeup in particular, it is practically impossible to carry a lot of makeup products because of the obvious reason that you will not be getting a lot of time to use so many products and it is a great idea if you stick with just the essentials!
So, now that you are at a new place or new country, creating memories is surely something you would love to do and of course capture them to reminisce it later! For that you need to look good in pictures because they are going to be the fond memories of your life and also you are not too conscious to show them to others once you are back!
Here, I have shared as to how you can use few products and get a glamorous look quickly without spending too much time doing your makeup and naturally end up Looking Good in Photos
Skin Care is a Must!
The initial step to look good has to do with healthy skin! Since I was in a cold country, I carried a face pack for dry skin as per the climate there! I got travel sized packs for masks/ scrubs so that I don’t have to carry an entire jar of skincare products which I won’t be able to finish during the vacation!
Fabindia Rose & Basil Hydrating And Soothing Face Mask
A sunscreen is a must while traveling as you tend to go out in the sun for the city tour and other sight seeing activities! Since I was in a cold country, it was a must for me because I did a lot of roaming in the day and I carried only sunscreen for moisturizing my face & keeping it protected from the sun!
For makeup I tried to keep it very basic and opted for a suitable foundation which is easy to apply and can be blended easily on the skin! It is hydrating and it looks great in the pictures! It is long staying so you need no touch ups once you leave your hotel room in the morning and come back later in the evening!
The next thing I usually take along with me is Brow Powder for the natural looking brows even if you didn’t get time to groom them with a tweezer! The brow powder defines your brows well making a lot of difference!
You can use a translucent powder if you are visiting a humid place otherwise you can simply skip it if you are going to a hill station where it remains cold!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade
Next thing I use for my face is a very subtle highlighter which gives me that natural glow without anyone actually knowing! Well, that is the beauty of this highlighter!
Follow it with a blush suitable for your skin! You don’t need to sit back and blend endlessly! Just dab a little blush and blend it so that you are good to go! You have a new place to explore so don’t waste it in doing an elaborate makeup!
Now apply an eyeliner of your choice! I prefer using a liquid eyeliner and usually opt for my signature winged eye look which I can do very quickly! Well, that is sufficient for the eyes! No mascara no eye shadow just eyeliner! 🙂
Lastly, its time for a lipstick! Pick a suitable shade which looks great on you! Choice is yours you can opt for a red or hot pink! I ended up using my favorite MAC lipstick most of the time and it did look good in pictures! 🙂
Well, that is it! For the hair also I didn’t need much of styling because I got keratin treatment done for my hair prior to this holiday so the hair needs just a gentle brush and I didn’t waste any time styling my hair! You can opt for a hair spa before leaving for the holiday as that will make you hair look good even if you do not style it and you can freely enjoy your vacation! 🙂
