Start by applying a few drops of redness relief lotion. . These drops will reduce the redness, tired look and will brighten up the whites of your eyes.
Dark circles, under eye bags, puffy eyes, all these make you look even more tired. Use a brightening concealer under your eyes as it will make your eyes look bright and awake. Use
Highlighting the inner corners of our eyes:
Opt for a pink highlighter instead of silver ones. Pink balances pink and yellow undertones and brightens up skin. Shimmery silver makes the area appear more blue worsening the dark circles. Now apply the highlighter on the inner duct area and fake a wide-awake look. Instead of light pink you can also go for shimmery pale gold or champagne, but never ashy silver.
Highlight on center:
Apply a shimmery or light colored eye shadow on the center of your lid and also on brow bone. This will make you look wide awake and give a fresh as daisy look.
Add dimension to your crease:
A matte, warm brown or even a soft dirty rose color will help to create some dimension and make your eyes pop. So, blend out your shimmery eye shadow with a matte brown/rose colored eye shadow to wake up your eyes.
Wing out your liner:
Line your eyelids with a black or dark brown eyeliner and wing it out. Winged out eyeliner gives an appearance of big eyes.
Light Colored or clean Waterline:
Use a white or flesh tone eye pencil to line your waterline. You can leave your lower lash line blank or apply a hint of black/brown kohl pencil below the water line and then smudge.
Curl your lashes:
Curling your lashes before mascara makes them appear longer, fuller, and most importantly, makes your eyes appear larger and more open. Ensure that your lashes are clean and dry. Trying to curl wet lashes could result in breakage. Open the curler completely and bring it to the upper lashes and check to see that you have all of the lashes inside the curler. Close the curler carefully on the lashes and squeeze lightly, with a soft, pulsing grip. Then turn the curler upwards, lining it up with the eyelid crease and squeeze again.
Don’t skip your mascara:
Mascaras create lush, flirty, wide awake look. They make your eye lashes appear longer, fuller, and most importantly, makes your eyes appear larger and more open. You can apply a navy blue tinted mascara where the blue hue will contrast with the white of your eyes to make them appear much brighter.
Groom Your Brows
Bold, arched brows lift the eyes. Quickly fill in your brows with a shade that is one tone lighter than your natural hair color. Concentrate on the upper portion and the arch of brow as it gives a lifted look to face. Brush them out and up with feathery strokes for a natural-looking finish.
