Hacks are real life savers if we find the right one. Beauty and makeup hacks are some of our favorite tips to save ourselves from a bad face day. Just imagine that you are in a hurry to leave your home and end up with eyebrows that put Cara Delevingne‘s brows to shame! Â I am sure that you will go in panic mode. Makeup over-application is not uncommon and we all face it at some point of our lives. Its great to have some tricks up your sleeves that can help in reducing the extent to which you have gone overboard. Here’s presenting some real life-saver kinda makeup tips to save your face-
Too Much Foundation
The best way to lighten too much of foundation is to use a damp makeup sponge all over your face. Just stipple the sponge on your face and it will absorb the excess. Blend well afterwards. You can get similar results by stippling your face with a kabuki brush but keep in mind that it will take more time.
Another way to lighten foundation is to dab a clean tissues on the required areas and then blend. If you don’t have any of these, just rub your clean hands gently on the areas with too much foundation.
Too Much Blush
If you feel you’ve applied too much blush and it looks gaudy, don’t worry…A foolproof method to lighten it is to dust some compact/finishing powder over it. Depending on just how overboard you’ve gone, use a sheer coverage/translucent powder or heavy pressed powder.
Too Much Eyeshadow
Take a clean eyeshadow brush (full, blending ones work great!) and swipe over the extra eyeshadow. Do not forget to blend the harsh edges. You can do the same for cream eyeshadows.
If it still looks odd, swirl your eye shadow buffing brush on your translucent powder and sweep on your lid to blur the eye shadow.
Use a clean mascara wand or lash comb or even toothbrush to de-clump your mascara. Just take your clean toothbrush and run through your lashes to remove the extra product.
Too much lipstick can easily be lightened by pressing your lips on a clean tissue paper.
The main trouble maker is smudged lipstick. You will need to take concealer on your concealer brush or a Q-tip. Dab it lightly over the smudged lipstick and blend lightly.
Lipsticks bleed quite often. Just dab a cotton swab in loose powder and run along the edges of the freshly applied lipstick. Lipstick won’t come out of it because powder becomes it barrier.
Extra Bold Brows
We love bold brows but the effort might sometimes result in artificial looking brows that look painted on and pure bad. If you have painted your eye brows too dark, start brushing the eyebrow with a clean Q-tip. Remember not to go against the hair growth, or you will end up having messy brows. This will remove excess color from the brows and the problem will be solved.
