How To Wear Coral Lipstick
With summers round the corner, one cannot deny the need for refreshing colors in your lipstick vanity. Coral is a color that usually suits fair and wheatish skin tones very well and goes with Indian and western attires equally well. This color in fact has been gaining trending attrition over the years.
The color has been promoted by various divas for several good brands which is a sign of this being the new kid on the block amidst lip colors and is surely a due for your vanity if it still isn’t. One must give it a try and then decide to use it or not.
The color is very much in fashion and has been seen during various fashion shows and public appearances as the favorite of various beauties so why should we keep away from it. Since it is a mix of orange and pink colors, we can moderate it according to our skin tone and use it, which is the best part about this color. For example, if you have a warmer or moderate skin tone, you could use it on a lighter note keeping the orange side of it higher and if you are fair and glowing, you can use it on the glossy pink side.
If you are thinking of putting this color on, you must prepare yourself and go for the same. As always, you need to prep your lips to carry the color well by scrubbing them and removing all creases. Keep them free of any more fallacies and also to make your lip color even more appealing by applying a coat of lip balm or any lip moisturizer which could keep the color balanced and make it stay for longer hours.
You can also keep it matte and glossy as per your choice. Though experts feel a matte finish works well for people with warmer tones while it can be a choice between the two ways for the fairer skinned people.
It is an appropriate office wear and a perfect party wear. It suits all skin tones and can be moderated to suit different age groups as well. What can one ask for?
If you want to go for a party, close the color on your lips with proper sheen using peach and pinkish shade in proper tone and having the glossy side up. Matte finish would suit you if you are really fair and in sync with your choice of clothes.
To give the matte finish, you could go for a dab of concealer or powder. This would also ensure longevity of your color for hours. Whatever brand you may choose, do choose it carefully and do not forget to try the swatches to check the suitability on your skin.
You can definitely check out most brands on the websites and even on Wiseshe blog, we have captured the swatches and reviews here for your perusal. Do let us know your concerns, if any with any brand and we will ensure to resolve it for you.

Peach life comes in a similar silver packaging like the previous matte touch lipsticks. The tube is quite sturdy and travel friendly. A transparent label sticker is placed at the bottom with the name on it. At such a price range, Colorbar has done quite a good job on the packaging.
Pigmentation: It is superbly pigmented. One swipe is enough to get the desired color but you can always intensify it if you want.
Texture: This formula is matte yet not over drying regular matte lipsticks. It has a velvety finish so I’m glad that I can wear it without any balm underneath
Price: Rs. 800/-
Shade: It’s a coral color with golden shimmer which are not at all glittery after application. One swipe of the lipstick gives a coral glossy effect and 2-3 swipes gives a great color pay off. It’s a very subtle and beautiful shade which can be worn any time and almost every day. This is my latest favorite on-the-go shade.
Pigmentation: As it’s a glossy lipstick the pigmentation is not that great, so it needs 2-3 swipes for the best color on the lips.
Price: Rs 750 for 4.5g
Shade: The lipstick shade no is 231 and the shade is a bright coral-peach color…! Yeah I am still not very sure of the exact shade. It looks a soft peach color in the morning and by the evening it looks more bright coral color. I like both the colors, so I don’t have any problem with this…!
Texture  The texture of the lipstick being so creamy glides smoothly on the lips giving a soft matte finish. The vitamin E & apricot kernel oil formulation moisturizes the lips without the need of lip balm. Only thing is that, if you have super dry lips, I would suggest applying a lip balm before the lipstick application to give you proper moisturization on the lips.

Color  The color is soft pinky coral, that might look pink or coral depending on your lips. On my lips, it does give a coral vibe but gravitate towards pink. The shade is perfect for spring and summers. Makes me look so fresh and go with almost any type of eye makeup. I generally prefer to wear it during daytime, reserving brights for evening.
Texture: The lipstick is creamy and goes on very smoothly on the lips. This shade does not have much sheen as compared to the bright shades in the collection. May emphasize lines on the lips if not properly exfoliated.
