Indian Pizza sauce recipe with step by step pictures

Pizza sauce is the most easy and basic part of pizza.I always prefer making my own pizza sauce because I can add variation to its taste .I can make it spicier, sweet and with oregano or without oregano.It is completely my choice how to make it.More of all it hardly takes 5 minutes in making it and taste better then any outside pizza.

Here goes my recipe

Serves 3-4
Preparation and cooking-15 minutes

Ingredients
12 plum tomatoes(Take out their skin and puree then in a food processor_
1 onion finely chopped
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons garlic
2 tablespoons sugar
1 green chilli chopped
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
2 tablespoons minced garlic


Method and preparation:-

Step1-Heat your oil in a pan. Add onion, green chilli and garlic in it.Saute them until they are trasparent.

Step2-Add tomato puree which we prepared of 12 tomatoes.(I didn’t puree them as my processor was not working ).Add sugar,salt and black pepper in it.

Step3-Bring the whole mixture to a boil. Then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, as the sauce thickens.

Step4-You can add red chilli flakes and oregano to make it spicier.

Your pizza sauce is ready to go over the pizza base.Some times I add chopped mushrooms, capsicum and many other healthy things .I add these things in the sauce itself and it taste lot better.

Kitchen tips-You can make the sauce with canned tomato puree as well.

2.This sauce is fresh till 3-4 days if kept in the fezzer.

3.You can pour it in the icing tray and it will go for a month.

4.If you want you can use butter instead of olive oil.
