Inglot AMC Liquid Blush 87: Review & Swatches

Hi All,

When I saw Liquid Blush on SAMB my insides suddenly perked up! I couldn’t believe it..A told me that these released quite some time back but I had absolutely no idea. I had only used MUFE liquid blush but didn’t know we had one so easily available. Needless to say I jumped right in and bought this to try out.

My take on the Inglot AMC Liquid Blush 87: –

  • Packaging: The blush comes in a transparent pump bottle with a clear pop-off lid. I do have my doubts about how the lid will fare since it does seem a bit fragile.

  • Price:  INR 995
  • Quantity:  15ml
  • Color: The color itself is a light pink with obvious blue undertones. It doesn’t have any shimmer or glitters.

  • Texture: The inglot liquid blush has a very light and milky texture to it. It definitely quite liquidy which was a surprise to me. The MUFE one I had was quite thick whereas this one is a bit runny and clear which would result in using a tad bit more during application.

  • Pigmentation: Pigmentation is quite decent. When I saw how liquidy the texture was I thought maybe no color at all would show up. But I was totally wrong. When applied this blush translates into a beautiful wash of color and is quite wearable for college or even at work.

  • Staying Power: This blush stays for approx 5hrs on my cheeks and then fades evenly.

  • Application: I use a single pump on the back of my hand and then use a stippling brush to dip and blend it out on the cheek. This blush is really easy to blend and is very hygienic as well. I would advice to use the brush instead of fingers for application since it leads to a more even application. Otherwise when blended with fingers, it may look a bit streaky and you may wipe out the color entirely..This is what the blush looks like when blended.

  2. i swatched inglot liquid blush no 88 in the store yesterday and i loved it! but since im broke at the moment couldnt buy it.. :-(( btw apparently they do not give refill pans without the inglot palette in the inglot stores.. thats what the SA told me.. is that true? how stupid is that! then what abt the purchases we make online?

    • Anu, u hav oily skin kya? this is not too oily at all…unless u hav xtremely oily skin.. once it sets in its like satin…in powder blush, oriflame has a blush whih is quite similar to this….il recheck the shade n tell may help…

  3. nowadays the moment i see the word blush on Wiseshe i think of Zara 😉 … and i am never wrong… me too didnt know liquid blushes existed… good review..

    • all 3 have their own charm…liquid blushes r awesome for dry skinned ppl…its super moisturizing and since this is light, it can be also used as a base for powder blushes…

    • hehe..i kno..the price is super steep…but then again discount zindabad…i myself wudnt have boght it anyways..and u kno na how crazy i am about blushes? if i can shell out 1200 to 1300 on mac, i can defo shell out for this 😉

  4. looks tempting Zee. bt tell me it eats up the foundation below kya???? i hv heard its better to use it directly on your skin as it wipes off the base while trying to blend 🙁

  5. Naa totally doesn’t jyo..I hav used the healthy mix foundation below and it hasn’t affectd it at all..I use this with a stippling brush in stippling wale movements on foundation and its perfect..

The wiping out thing may hold true if I had to use a firmer brush or had t use rubbing motions with my fingers..

  6. Na-na..liquid blushes can be used for 12-18mts and most of them cn even be used fr longer..kinda like until they dry up 😉 to life to hai…bas use karna hai 😉

  7. Zee U have no idea..Whn I was going to Inglot store..I askd ppl if they need me to chk out something for them: So many ppl askd me to chk out all the blushes u have reviewed on wiseshe :-))

  8. Actually I don’t follow the expiry wala funda unless the formula itself gets if the liquid thickens or if the mascara stops bein flowy or if a blush or lippy gets a hard texture which signifies its end…warna I never throw 🙂 I feel too bad t throw 😉

  9. I pinches and I feel bad fr nt havin used it properly..then I promise myself I won’t do this again lekin wohi same story hota hai..hehe..

  10. Zeeeee……… how pretty is this??? Am sooooooooo loving it… but its way beyond my budget 🙁 🙁
Damn… i soooo want your blushes!!!
On a diff note I want to tell Ana I love her for introducing me to Inglot… and I love you for the freedom system blushes 🙂 🙂
