Happy Valentine’s Day to all my Wise She friends…!
It is me again with another lipstick review as a debutante of my makeup collection…See I am so devoted to my resolution of collecting more & more makeup items…!! 🙂 This is Inglot Lipstick in the shade 231. Stay tuned to know how well I liked this shade.
About Inglot Lipstick:
- Vitamin E and apricot kernel oil moisturizing formula.
- Solid and elegant metal case.
- Paraben free formula.
- Not tested on animals
Price: Rs 750 for 4.5g
Shelf Life: 3 years
Packaging: I must say this lipstick has a classy packaging. I instantly fell for its packaging…! 🙂
It has a metallic body which is purely black and only thing that you will find written on the lipstick is the brand’s name. Other than that only the shade number is written on the back of the lippie…! The cap is tightly enclosed with the metallic body and doesn’t come out easily which makes it safe to carry along.
Shade: The lipstick shade no is 231 and the shade is a bright coral-peach color…! Yeah I am still not very sure of the exact shade. It looks a soft peach color in the morning and by the evening it looks more bright coral color. I like both the colors, so I don’t have any problem with this…!
I think this shade will compliment all the fair and medium fair complexions.
Texture: This lipstick has a creamy consistency and it easily glides on the lips. Upon applying, this gives a pure matte finish to the lips. The shade is highly pigmented and a single swatch on the lips would be sufficient for the daytime look.
My experience with Inglot Lipstick No. 231:
I am a big fan of coral colors and that is why I am so much in love with the shade. It is a different color in my stash these days as I got bored with the pinks lippies…:-(
The lipstick is much pigmented and provides full coverage to the lips. So, even if you are having darker lips you can still opt for this shade as this brilliantly hides the pigmentation of the lips.
The texture of the lipstick being so creamy glides smoothly on the lips giving a soft matte finish. The vitamin E & apricot kernel oil formulation moisturizes the lips without the need of lip balm. Only thing is that, if you have super dry lips, I would suggest applying a lip balm before the lipstick application to give you proper moisturization on the lips.
The lipstick has a staying power of a good 4-5 hours and stays put for a good while on the lips. It doesn’t settles in the fine lines of the lips, so you need not worry about how it would look after a few hours of application.
The lipstick gives a mild & sweet fruity smell upon application. It won’t be a problem for anyone…:-)
The shade goes well on all types of attire, be it Western or Indian ethnic.
What I like about Inglot Lipstick No. 231:
- I love the shade…!
- I love the packaging…! 🙂
- Matte finish
- Smooth and creamy texture
- Staying Power
- Highly Pigmented
- Suits fair & medium fair complexions the best…!
What I don’t like about Inglot Lipstick No. 231:
- Well, quite obvious…! Nothing for me…! 🙂
- For some, the need of applying a lip balm could be a possible con for this lipstick.
Product Rating: 4.5/5
Will I repurchase/ recommend? Well, let me finish the current one quickly then I will think of repurchasing it again!
Yes, if you are in search of a coral-peachy color for daytime wear, grab this shade at the earliest…It is such a beautiful shade.
