Instant Chic pea/Indian pea/safed matar salad with video tutorial and pictures

Chic pea salad is one of my favourite salad as it is low in fat and taste great.Boiled chic peas are quiet healthy for the body and are used in various ways in India.You can add or ommit many things in it and build the taste of the salad on your liking.
Chic pea is also called Garbanzo bean, Indian pea, ceci bean, Bengal gram
Here goes the recipe:-
Serves-2-3
Preparation-15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cucumber diced or chopped
1 apple diced or chopped
1 banana diced or chopped
1 Cup chic peas( Soak them in water over night and pressure cook them)
2 tsp. olive oil
Salt to taste
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp lemon juice
Method and preparation:-
Step1-Take a salad bowl and add boiled chick peas, chopped apple, banana, cucumber in it.
Step2-Add salt, black pepper, lemon juice and olive oil in it.
Toss the salad and keep it in the fridge for half an hour.
Serve chilled
P.S-1.Make sure that chic peas are properly boiled.
2.You can add paneer(indian cheese), chopped onion, pomegranate(annar) too.

  1. Thank you! Don't know if I really lost weight, I don't weigh myself anymore because the scale always dissapoints me! The truth is that about 2 months ago I suddenly gained a lot of weight and now I'm doing my best to get in shape again. The problem is that I don't have time to work out so I just try to eat healthy. Think this chickpeas salad would be a great dish! Will try it out!
