Katrina Kaif And Her Style Evolution Over The Years
Katrina Kaif is so in headlines right now because of her supposed breakup with Ranbir Kapoor & the exorbitant amount paid for her red hair color in the upcoming movie Fitoor. But today, we won’t be getting into all those details & instead talk about how her style statement has evolved over the years.
Katrina’s debut film was Boom, which did not see much success. She first made her mark in Bollywood with the movie Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya in the year 2005. She caught everyone’s attention with her charm & looked very cute in those short dresses. Katrina basically sported a casual & girl-next-door kind of a look. She was seen in this sort of a look again in Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani wherein she sported short skirts & funky tees & in the movie New York as well with her famous red-streaked hair!
Her next prominent look was in Namastey London & she looked absolutely stunning. She sported a classy British accent & an ultra-chic look with denim skirts, knee-high boots & the pretty curls! Kat was also seen in a desi avatar as a Punjabi girl wearing salwar kameez, churidars & jhumkas. She pulled off both these looks very well.
Then she was seen movies like Partner, Welcome & Race where her style was primarily contemporary & she was mostly seen in dresses. And ohh! How can we forget her sexy sizzling performance in the song Touch Me Touch Me!!! She looked so sensuous & sultry in that dress & we could not take our eyes off from her!
Katrina also experimented with traditional attire & did full justice to it. Everybody went gagas over her netted sarees in the movie Singh Is Kingg. We are still in awe of her lovely Black saree with a pink border. In fact, she was also seen in a bridal look in this movie & looked absolutely breathtaking. I personally liked her the best in the six-yards of sheer elegance! And we have to give it to her, she carries herself with such poise & elegance in sarees. We saw her in traditional attire once again during Rajneeti with her handloom sarees. In addition, she also performed on some dance numbers in sexy cholis & even lehengas!
We then saw her in a totally different & unique style in the movie Yuvraaj. She donned a truly royal look with her classy gowns & vintage hairdo. Well, shelooked extremely elegant & graceful in this look.
Casual Chic Look
She also tried the casual yet sexy look & looked super in chic in tattered jeans, kohl-rimmed eyes & tank tops in the movie Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. We saw her again in a boho-chic style in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara with her knee length skirts, short pants & strappy dresses.
She also made her debut appearance at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015. Katrina was seen in a black Oscar de la Renta gown and a red lace Elie Saab gown. She was also seen in beautiful gowns in Jab Tak Hai Jaan & looked ravishing.
To conclude, I feel that Katrina has been quite versatile in her style . She has tried a lot of different looks during the years. She has always looked comfortable & elegant in whatever she wears. In addition, she has pulled off every look with confidence. In addition to her acting skills & her Hindi speaking ability, Katrina has really evolved over the years with her exquisite style & gorgeous looks.
