How I use the KeraStraight Moisture Mask:
I recently got a hair treatment done to my hair which in easy terms means a semi-permanent blow dry which keeps the hair healthy and is rather chemical free. I usually like how quickly my hair dries and how smooth it remains, just comb through and it looks perfect. Of course I do feel that my hair needs a deep conditioning once again, so my hair dresser suggested me a home ritual using the moisture mask which I bought online from the KeraStraight website, I even got a 500 ml of SLS free shampoo, which really takes care of the treatment.
Moving on to the application, I use it in the way salons prefer to call it the intense boost, which also gives similar results like mine, but only for a shorter period.
I usually wash my hair with a pre-cleanser or a regular SLS free shampoo and then I towel dry my hair. I then apply the mask nicely on my length covering each length carefully, I let the treatment on in a shower cap. After 20 minutes, I blow dry my hair to activate the treatment and trap the conditioning. I then rinse off with a quick 30 seconds rinse and let it dry naturally or if were to go out I would normally blow dry again.
My experience with KeraStraight Moisture Mask:
I like the feeling of the mask, it makes my hair smoother and helps replenish my treatment between washes, giving it a nice sleek look and avoid any frizz. The mask smells nice, the quantity is really less I feel for the price. But it makes the treatment extend longer and hair more manageable. I think rather than opting for a Kera Complex treatment again, I will simple do this mask once or twice a mask and run through a hair straightener to seal the product.
All I need is a good hair straightener now 😉
What I like about KeraStraight Moisture Mask:
- Easy to use,
- Can be used a deep conditioning treatment,
- Perfect to maintain any smoothening treatment,
- Effects last even after washes- provided you use SLS free shampoos,
- Makes hair more manageable,
- Can be blow dried to seal in the moisture.
What I dislike about KeraStraight Moisture Mask:
- Expensive for 100 ml product,
- Weighs hair down, but is ok after a wash,
- Can only be used on days when you have all the time.
