Texture- The oil is not very sticky. I apply a little bit on my scalp and it does not feel oily. I apply it in morning and wash off in 30 min. The oil is easy to wash off but I would like to mention that I do not use it along the length of my hair.

Fragrance- I love it. The oil has rosemary and lavender oils which give it an amazing smell. I would have loved it if the fragrance had lingered after wash.

My Take on Kiehl’s Magic Elixir Hair Oil:

The oil claims to reduce dryness and it does stay true to its claim and makes my hair look hydrated. This is a miracle for dry hair. Coming to its claims about controlling hair fall, I didn’t notice any drastic change. My hair fall reduced a bit but I cannot attribute it to this oil as it can also be due to change in weather.

The oil is pricey but if you like luxury then and like using Kiehl’s products then go for it. It works well for lackluster hair like mine. But I will add that this oil is not a must have.

What I like about Kiehl’s Magic Elixir Hair Oil:

  • Hydrates hair
  • non-sticky
  • easy to wash off

What I don’t like about Kiehl’s Magic Elixir Hair Oil

  • does not help much with hair fall
  • pricey
  • limited availability though you can order it on phone.
