Hey everyone!
Recently, the Famous and our absolute favourite designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee at LFW Winter Festive 2016 launched Lakme’s Illuminate collection, working with term ‘illuminating’. This is the much talked about ‘Bridal makeup’ launch these days in India.
Though the news that Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is also Lakme’s brand ambassador, walked the ramp as show stopper for LFW grand finale, wearing metallic grey, heavily embellished lehenga and kurti and boy! she was all decked up to slay.
Anyhow, Lakme itself sent a mail to WiseShe and I would say the packaging of ‘The festive box’ is utterly gorgeous. We have received 5 makeup products in this box.Today,I am going to share my initial thoughts on one of the 5 products is New Lakme Absolute Moon-Lit Highlighter. Is it worth the hype?? Must have for fall to get ‘Master strobe effect’ ?? Lets find out.

Packaging: Lakme absolute moon lit high-lighter comes in a compact like packing with a transparent lid over it. The packaging doesn’t offer any inbuilt mirror or applicator.does not provide. It comes handy and user friendly. The old packaging are quite fragile but this one little improved in manner and easy to carry around. Overall, there is nothing fancy about the packaging .I would really appreciate if they would have been added some bridal theme into this other than the product.
My Initial thoughts on Lakme Absolute Moon-Lit Highlighter -Sabyasachi Limited Edition
Texture: The texture is so soft and formed with powder- finely milled shimmers. I am more a matte lover but I have to admit that subtle glow wouldn’t hurt at all. Moreover the glitters-shimmer, I love the soft and ultra blend-able texture of this moon -highlighter. It doesn’t seems chalky at all and totally justify the 700+ price tag.
Shade: It is duo highlighter, one is light and another one is medium tan.the light shade of highlighter reminds me ‘MAC rice paper eyeshadow’. Lakme has done a commendable job this time and the amazing things is that, its suits to most of the skin tones. I am very excited to use this highlighter in my festive and party looks.
Stay tuned for detail review! 🙂
