So, after the kajal I reviewed, now I am going to review the new Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara from the same range. Here, readers, observe the fascinating display of bad photography when it came to EOTDs.
I am going to update readers on the Eyeconic Kajal, btw. Today, I walked around in the hot and humid Kolkata afternoon (from 12 to 5 p.m. precisely) and both Kajal and Mascara stayed put really well. I’d only used my Maybelline BB Cream and Jewel Lipstick in Amethyst Ablaze, and wore a simple black and white Kurta with a pair of gold flats.
Apparently I looked good.
So, coming back, let me tell you guys about my slight fetish for the concept of Mascara. I love black Mascara. I had loved them, ever since they were given to me by my aunt, who was a Mascara freak herself. I used to try and use the wand she held in her hand, and when I could, I was devastatingly happy (I was 8 probably). Thus began my own quest to get the perfect Mascara, and the reason I love them is because I have nonexistent eyelashes.
With the mascara, Lakme does not take any chance. Clear instructions about the usage and removal of the product has been given, and I find it slightly irritating to be dictated, I know I can always ignore what is said. However, the Bi-Phased Makeup Remover thing is quite irritating, and this does not go off with most water-based or oil-based products.
- Price: 250/-
- Quantity: 9 ml.
I love the package of this mascara. It is slightly curved and really very sexy. It is not similar to the fat-bellied numbers I have seen otherwise, and looks really sleek and classy.
The mascara is really travel-friendly, and can be jostled around quite a bit without harming. The package is sturdy enough.
Once I opened the pack, I really liked the slightly curled up wand which came with instructions to use. The instructions were easy enough and I admired the package a bit more.
The mascara is liquid, and it does not cling to the wand much. Though I am suspecting that only time will tell if the mascara dries, but for now it does not, and that is what matters.
The wand is slightly curved to facilitate use, and it is quite easy to apply the mascara using this wand. The mascara does not dry for nearly a minute, so be careful batting eyelashes immediately after using it. However, once it is in place, it is incredibly difficult to remove, and good quality makeup remover or the Lakme Bi-Phased remover is required.

So, here is the verdict. I love this. It is really very nice mascara which does not clump up my eyebrows, but rather make my eyes look big and pretty, and the staying power is quite long. Though it is a problem to remove it, the mascara is true to its claim, and not just blackens, but also shapes up my eyelashes. The applicator is really easy to use, and the instructions work out well. However, again a crib I have is that the product does not come with a list of ingredients, and so I don’t know whether it contains Parabens or not.
What I like about Lakme Eyeconic  Curling Mascara

What I don’t  like about Lakme Eyeconic  Curling Mascara

- No list of ingredients on the package anywhere
Have you tried the  Lakme Eyeconic  Curling Mascara?
