My experience with Liz earle Cleanse and Polish

For testing the product I used it continuously for fifteen days twice a day and I was amazed as the result. It thoroughly cleanse my skin and my pores looks more refined and on top of it gentle exfoliation helps me in keeping my skin  blackhead and white heads free.

Product has strong eucalyptus fragrance which might be strong for sensitive skin .After using cleanser at night  I didn’t use anything on my face ,  some time I did use  aloe vera gel and my skin has been smooth and ultra clean ever since.

How I used the Liz earle cleanser

When I am wearing makeup I wash my face  with a mild face wash and then apply this  cleanser all over  face and gently massage my  skin with it.I focused on difficult areas like  corner of my nose and above the eyes. Then I boil a glass of water (lukewarm) and rinsed the muslin cloth in it and wringed it out before gently polishing off the cream. In the end splashed cold water again.

Liz earle hot cloth cleanser review

Just one use and my skin felt soft and it was glowing. My husband too ask me what I have been using on my face as it looks super clean and glowing 😀

Ingredients:-Aqua (water), Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, Cetearyl alcohol, Cetyl esters, Sorbitan Stearate, Polysorbate 60, Glycerin, Cera alba (beeswax), Propylene glycol, Humulus lupulus (hops) extract, Panthenol, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) extract, Anthemis nobilis (chamomile) extract, Eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) oil, Limonene, Citric acid, Sodium hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Dehydroacetic acid, Polyaminopropyl biguanide.

As product has cocoa butter in it I initially thought it will be heavy but it was surprisingly not heavy .Euclayptus fragrance is harsh but I don’t mind it as it gives me fresh  and comforting feeling.

This product has changed my belief in cleansing albeit I do find polishing(using cloth and warming up water) a long task but the result which it gives is amazing.Sometime when I am tired and I don’t want to use hot water I just use the muslin cloth. It removes off the excess makeup but yes I do notice less glow then.

Product doesn’t sting my eyes and cleanse off all the makeup easily especially foundation which I am always cautious about. It even removes off gel eyeliner and water proof mascara however does requires bit of effort.

Will I re -purhases – Yes, If you think your makeup cleansing process is the right one then do give this product a try you might not carry the same perception:)

Amazingly outstanding product which will suit dry as well as oily skin 🙂

P.S- Muslin cloth requires hot water cleaning after 2-3 usage otherwise it may lead to growth of bacteria.

  1. Nice!! Have to gicve it a thumbs up since its worked on oily/summer skin..I too never dare use a cleanser especially in summers..I wish this were easily available.. 🙁

  2. Wowieeeeee……

  3. This prdt tempts me a lot :hypnotized: – but the price tag always puts me off. I wld really like it if someone gifted this to me! 😛 :present:

I have my own homegrown version of it. I use cold cream as cleanser instead. Massage it well into my face & wipe off with damp cotton pads.

      • Awww! Too bad yaar.. I don’t use the Indian Cold Cream though, I use the US version, that one suits me. The indian one doesn’t suit me either.. It is too heavy 😛

        • Which cold cream Tanv?? Jergens? Know what? I got a papaya cream and tried using it like u wrote in ur blog…but didnt work..Nivea doesnt suit me 🙁

          • Yea, Jergens ;)… which papaya cream are you talking about? I don’t know about that..

Nivea is horrendous, it gave me such a bad reaction. It actually dried out my skin. I hate that blue tin 😛

              • I think I was allergic to one of the ingredients.. within 2 applications, my skin dried up & started to flake & peel.. & this was on my face – my cheeks.. It was horrible, that was in fact how I discovered Biotique. I was really scared to apply anything, but no oil was working. The Biotique SA gave me Morning Dew & she even offered money back – 7 days or your money back.

My skin started to heal within 24 hours of applying biotique. 😀

  4. Off track…what are Face paints used for. was browsing through KK Centre site and see these lovely colours…and they are face paints..

  5. anamika……..this product seems nice…….does it help with acne prone over sensitive…oily but dry in patches skin also…..?

  6. and i simply fail to understand why no good foein product comes to india…india is such a potential arket for skin care products…..
