Hey everyone, how are you all? The name of this lipstick is soooo lengthy I must say 😛 being a lazy bum I’ll be having a hard time writing the full name of this lipstick. So almost all of the shades from this range have been reviewed on WiseShe and this is the only one I bought. Let’s see how it faired on my scale.
Price: 899 INR

My Experience with L’oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick- Spring Rosette
Though I loved the color of Lincoln Rose the most because I love Rosy reds and I die for those colors but I wanted to pick a more wearable and casual color from this range. Considering the price tag this was the most important aspect for me that don’t end up buying a shade which I would be wearing occasionally.
SHADE- The shade Spring Rosette is a very pretty dusty rose pink color with slightly mauve undertones. The mauvish undertones aren’t too intense but they may accentuate if your very pigmented lips. On my mediumly pigmented lips it shows the true color. The shade justifies its name in my opinion. This shade will suit a plethora of skin tones.
TEXTURE- As described by the brand the texture of this lipstick is velvety and completely matte not powdery though. It glides on your lips effortlessly and doesn’t really accentuate the dryness of lips. Though exfoliation is must before applying any matte lipstick.
PIGMENTATION- The intensity and pigmentation of this particular shade is medium considering it is a light shade I expected this. But it gives an opaque finish in 2 swipes which is awesome. And it definitely covers pigmentation effectively. Yay!
STAYING POWER- The staying power is a dud. It just broke my heart. I am a matte lover and I love mattes not only for their finish but their lasting power too. This is one thing I want from lipsticks bare lips just horrify me. :-/ The staying power is only 3-4 hours which isn’t expected from a matte lippie. I am so angry on you L’oreal.
It settles into the fine lines of lips but fades evenly leaving no stain behind.
What I like about L’oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick- Spring Rosette:
- The pretty color.
- Classy packaging.
- Velvety Texture.
- Not drying.
- Opaque coverage.
- Didn’t melt.
- NO shimmers.
- Shade will suit all skin tones.
- Doesn’t bleeds or feathers.
- Leaves no stain behind.
What I Don’t Like about L’oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick- Spring Rosette
- Average Staying Power.
- Not worth the price.
- Accentuates fine lines of lips.
Do I recommend this Product? I hate it for the price tag. If it would have been at a low price tag then it could have been a superb product. The shade, texture, coverage, everything is nice except the average staying power. If you can spend 900 for a lipstick with such a staying power then go for it the shades are to die for.
My Rating: 3/5
