Color Pay Off Quite intense but it is build able to intense, light, single-winged, double -winged looks. Less pigmented than Lakme one but application would be intense with strong hand application.
Staying Power Stays Nine to five as it says, but does fade too after 4-5hrs.
Priming of eyes is required if you like thick lines, nor it will start to deposit in creases due to blinking of eyes.
Quite good but starts to fade after about 4 hrs.
Priming of eyes is required if you want thick lines for this too.
My Experience with it
  1. I have the shade Sapphire (matte) and Jade (glossy), both gives nice color with one stroke.
  2. Have not applied on waterline but yes on lower lash line & both didn’t sting my eyes.
  3. All are water proof.
  1. I have the shades Black, Sapphire, Brown & Aqua green.
  2. Black and Brown needs one stroke to show color, Sapphire and Aqua green needs 2-3 strokes for deep lines.
  3. Have applied the black on my “water line” & it didn’t sting my eyes, other shades I have applied only on lower lash line..
  4. All are water proof.

My Preferences If only I compare Sapphire, For day time I will choose Lakme sapphire coz it is matte. Within rest others, I will re-purchase Jade Lotus Sapphire is glittery so I will choose it for night outs. Here too I will repurchase Brown and Black.

Which one is your favourite?

  1. Wow. Lovely haul. Pity Lotus did not agree with my skin. Now, I’m tempted to give it a second try. Lovely colors and btw, very useful format for the comparative review

  5. Another fantastic comparison Prerana! (Although, the top most pic have been swapped) I love posts like these. I’ve never bought the lotus liners, but I think I’ll check it out. Seems reasonable at 199 bucks.

  6. Yup Bhumi, you are right, lakme is much more creamier…but then you will have to be very careful while gliding on skin, the more creamier and soft the eye pencil is, the more it is prone to breakage!!

  7. Hello Anamika….my problem is whenever I apply any kajal/pencil on my lower lashline it smudges a lot….CAn you help? And can you pls explain how to prime ones eyes??:-))

  8. Giveaway 😀 :alien: But if a person like me gets it, then it will remain as a showpiece only :struggle: So you do the looks with it and impart some knowledge on us guru mata :worship:
