I am obsessed with facial foundations and keep trying new launches of foundation every now and then.Be it cream foundation , concealer foundation, stick foundation and list goes on and on.

I love facial foundations:) be it Revlon foundations or Loreal .Have to try them all:)
I have already shared some of my thought on MAC foundation here and I have been waiting to review this product since long. The reason being what ever make up look I have shown on wiseshe,  they all had MAC studio Fix fluid SPF-15 foundation in them.
My experience with the product:-

1.The packaging of the this foundation comes in a simple black mac design. It comes in a clear glass bottle with a screw on black lid which is usual MAC foundation design.
2.The best part of this product is that it makes your skin look flawless. It also has SPF which I always look forward in my makeup foundations.
3.The foundation exactly matched my skin tone which is NC43.5.From the vary first time when I used it I fell in love with it.It gave me a good coverage which was not at all cakey and gave a beautiful glow also to my face.

4.It gives a medium build able coverage and evens out my skin tone. Also, the biggest reason which we detest foundation is the break out which never took place with this foundation.

6.I have tried using this foundation with my fingers, foundation brush , sponge and found  that it can be applied with all the things.

7.I think this particularly foundation will solve out the problem of dusky/brown woman the most as most of the other foundation makes the woman look white and powdery .It has a perfect yellow tone which I was looking for.

8.I have been using this foundation since 5-6 months and not once it made me feel like heavy or over the top.

My Dislikes

1.Price of the foundation is Rs1500 and you will have to buy the foundation pump separately which really irritated me as the amount of money which was spending on it I would have appreciated if they would have thrown the pump with it too.Pump was of Rs 150 and therefore I decided to let go off with the pump.

2.After applying it for few hours it makes my face looks little shiny if I do not use its the MAC compact which comes with it.So this means extra expenditure again:P or may be a blotting paper will help and can be used when you feel the shine.

3. Ofcourse the price but my experience with many foundation has been terribly bad.It turned out as a foundation investment to me rather than a splurge.

Worth a buy-Yes it is truly a worth.

Rating-4/5

Packaging-3.5/5

Value for money-3/5

Like it , love it or lust it– I completely lust it.

Will I repurchase again-This foundation is going to be my love till I don’t get a better foundation for myself. My foundation journey has still not stopped:D

  17. I've just started using this foundation. I was using Loreal earlier. It definitely gives better coverage! I didnt get the pump either. I thought it was pointless!

  33. I bought the MAC studio fix fluid and got the pump too (cost me an extra 300!!) But honestly, i think the pump is worth it as you ultimately use a lot less foundation (need only one pump for the entire face). First couple of days, i loved it. I have some acne scarring on the cheeks and the foundation just covered it up like a dream, no concealer needed. 3rd day however disaster struck. My skin started breaking out and i got the worst acne break-out since my teens. Returned the foundation (stuck with the pump though). They didn't refund the money, so now am stuck with store credit and too scared to buy any other foundation of theirs. Been 10 days and my skin is yet to return to normal.

  49. The thing with foundation is that it needs to work in synergy with your skin. It has to blend seamlessly with your skin. I find that the better condition my skin is in the better the foundation goes on, on my skin. So good skin is paramount. Having the right shade is also very impprtant, it has to be invisible.
