So, today IÒ€ℒm going to review one of the most talked about brush from  MACÒ€¦i.e. MAC 182 BUFFER BRUSH (kabuki brush).

About MAC 182 buffer brush:-

A full domed shaped brush of extra soft goat hair specially created to flawlessly blend powder onto the skin for an immaculate polishe finish. An excellent product for all mac powders and pigments.

  • Price: Rs3400 (ripped me off badly :-()

My take on MAC182 Buffer Brush:

After struggling for months to get a perfect kabuki brush, I shortlisted few brushes from the leading brands. I went through a lot of reviews , every possible youtube videos on brushes and finally had a real tough time in deciding which baby to bring  home. Keeping * life-time investment-element* in mind, I chose mac (maintaining my loyalty towards this brand  :-p ).

Packaging:   it comes with a small plastic holder which makes a reasonable protector  and also upto some extent helps in keeping its bristles in shape.

Quality:  what I like most about this baby is its love worthy shape, size and density of its bristles. I noticed many kabuki brushes  lacking softness and density. It is super soft and buffs on wonderfully like a dream. I keep buffing it over my face with JohnsonÒ€ℒs baby powder  :-p.

Application:   it picks up sufficient amount of product to provide flawless uniform application with ease. It works excellently well for applying mineral makeups, bronzers, blushes and all sorts of powders.

I use it particularly for applying compacts and finishing or HD loose powders.
this is by far my best MAC purchase. It works best with MAC studio fix powders which made me throw away their sponges and all other applicators. It does not shed it bristles like other few mac brushes (187 brush is still problematic to me  :-/ )

Bit its way too EXPENSIVE  !!!! I mean rs 3400 for a brush!!!

Its been a month and this is accompanying me wherever I go and I know its with me for a life-time!!

(this is how it picks up Johnson baby powder :-p ) MY FAV DUO!!!

What I like about MAC 182 Buffer Brush:-

  • big enough to apply makeup quickly.
  • never had a shedding problem
  • perfect size and very handy
  • absolutely amazing for buffing and applying powdery products and minerals.
  • dense and soft bristles
  • best blending tool!!!

What I don’t like about MAC 182 Buffer Brush:-

  • availability

Ratings 4.5/5 (-.5 for the price and availability)

Overall, I love this brush and will never go back to any other kabuki and large powder brushes. Though its expensive but worths every penny!!
