  1. ya you can wear. but your make up must be balanced. when you use shimmery blush then wear matte or powder eyeshadow. and when use shimmery eyeshadow use matte light blush. you may use colored eyeliner which are not glittery but that time use light matte eyeshadow. in case when you wear blue/green liner use light grey eyeshadow, use peach or earthy color when use brown liner. in matured skin you should use a moisturizing foundation ( if your skin is dry or normal). you are new so you have to practice doing make up at home. bcoz make up is an art. so don’t be afraid just enjoy doing make up.

  2. if you have mature skin then go for slight shimmer in your eye shadows as shimmer helps in hiding fine wrinkles .With this apply a good eyeshadow base which can will smooth out the fine lines .

  3. Hello Heena!
You can use blush but choose colors that most closely to your cheek’s color.
    cream blush would be better.
For eyeshadow use neutral eyeshadow, don’t use heavy eyeliner, shimmery eyeshadow can settle into fine lines so avoid it.

  4. Hi Heena,

Choose natural shades and color tones which blend well with your natural complexion. U can apply a highlighter on the cheekbones for a more defined look. As mentioned above, try using cream blushes since they would lend that extra bit of moisture and glow to ur face. 😉

During one of my parlor visits, the MUA was working with a lady beside me and i recall she mentioned that contouring shud be avoided for such skin since it wud just give a gaunt/ hollow cheeked illusion and would just make one look kinda mal nourishes…hehe..hope this helps… 🙂

  5. when you age your skin loses moisture, a powder / dry textured product will highlight lines and wrinkles. here are a few things you can do.

buy a cream blush instead of a powder one.
use a primer so that makeup stays on. a lot of primers contain silicon and minimise the appearance of fine lines.
make sure you moisturise your skin before you put on your foundation. use a light formula (liquid), a heavy formula requires a lot of blending and may settle in fine lines if not applied correctly.
for your lips use moisturising lipsticks. do not hesitate to wear your lip balm underneath. revlon, chambor and lotus have moisturising lippies galore.

use shimmer and good quality shimmer, if you are new to makeup , try products where the shimmer is not too strong. once you feel confident about blending , then buy high shimmer products. say , buy a pink shadow with gold shimmer, before you buy a gold shimmery shade. once you master the technique you can buy the golden shade that has caught your attention.

    hope these help.

  6. ‘m glad to know I’m not alone here… Throughout my life (even my teenage years) I have always had a good complexion. I mean, here and there I’d get a little breakout, but nothing to write home about. For the most part, my adolescence was smooth sailing as far as my skin went…

I have talked about this with a few other women around my age (35-55) and we all came up with the idea that it may be a biological/hormonal change that occurs for women at this particular age. There also may be a stress factor as we have a lot more to worry about and be responsible for than we did back then.

For my 40th birthday, my mom bought me a bottle of Made from Earth’s Vitamin Enhanced Face Firming Serum, and after a few weeks, people were commenting that I looked less tired. They even asked if I lost weight, been exercising or on vacation!

Since it works gradually over a few weeks, you notice a bit of difference yourself, but the people who don’t see you that often really notice a dramatic change. Smaller wrinkles are smoothed out and disappear completely, while large ones get smaller.
