Makeup Looks To Try For Friend’s Sangeet
Hey there lovely ladies! I am sure all of you would agree that it is super fun to dress up for the sangeet ceremony of your friend. We all want to look just perfect for the day. Following are some looks which you can try for the ceremony.
Classic Gold Eyes with Rosy Lips:
This is a subtle yet classy & evergreen look to sport for a sangeet ceremony. Choose a gold eye shadow for the eyes with a bit of shimmer in it, but do not go overboard with the glitter. To accentuate the eyes some more, you can highlight the inner corner of your eyes with a creamy gold color. Apply a simple jet black eyeliner. Curl up your lashes using an eyelash curler & volume them up with a mascara. For the lips, choose a classic red lipstick to go with the gold eyes. You may also go for a subtle pink lipstick & add gloss for some shine.
Neutral Eyes with Dark Lips:
This look can be tried out by the ladies who wish to keep the eye makeup minimal & focus more on the lips. After you apply your primer & concealer, apply a neutral shade eye shadow such as soft peach, beige, taupe, etc. Use a matte finish light shade to highlight your brow bone. Complete this look with either a thick or thin liner on the upper lid but it is preferable to leave the lower lash line bare. Finally apply mascara to your lashes. Go for dark shades of matte lipsticks matching your dress for the occasion such as plum, maroon or berry.
Dramatic Eyes with Soft Lips:
If you can carry the look well, go for dramatic eyes. You can use this look to create dramatic eyes to match the secondary colors in your outfit. Start by applying a creamy black liner all over your eyelids. Apply a neutral tone shade on the crease & blend using a blending brush. Apply the eye shadow color of your choice on the eyes & apply another tone of the same color on the sides for the dramatic effect & blend smoothly. Further apply a gold eye shadow on the inner corner of your eyes to further accentuate the look. Finish by applying eyeliner, kohl & mascara. For the lips, choose a softer shade & apply lip gloss for shine.
Kareena Kapoor Sangeet Look:
I am sure we all loved Kareena’s look at her sangeet ceremony. It was a very warm toned look with smokey copper eyes along with subtle shades of brown. After applying the cooper eye shadow, apply a dark brown shadow in the outer corner & use a gold shadow as a highlighter on your brow bone.
Use a kohl pencil to outline your eyes & smudge the kajal on your waterline. Apply a volumizing mascara for finishing the eye makeup. Apply dusky pink blush for the cheeks & a brick shade lipstick with a lip gloss for the lips.
Smokey Silver Eyes with False Eyelashes:
You can pull this look off with cocktail gowns & traditional outfits in silver or with silver embroideries. Go for a silvery grey eye shadow & blend using a blending brush for smokey eyes. Apply black winged eyeliner on the upper lash line. To add to the oomph factor, try on false eyelashes & apply mascara to add volume. Apply a subtle pink lipstick with a nude lip gloss for lips which would further pull the attention to your eyes.
