I have long past joined the BB Cream Bandwagon, as it is called, and this is the latest addiction for me. When I saw this in the Maybelline counter, I snatched it up and decided to immediately use it. After a few days, let me tell you how I like this cream.

My Take on Maybelline Clear Glow  BB Stick Shade 04:-
I swatched both colors at the stall with my friend S and chose Fawn because though it was darker, it did help smoothening out my skin. The other shade, Radiance, left a white cast to my skin. Ideally, Fawn should be for girls over NC 43 in MAC Foundation, and Radiance should be for those with NC25-40 skin tone. The package has the same color as the BB Cream, only it comes in a stick formula. I love it. Not only is it very resilient, but it is also is a very travel-friendly one. I have carried it around and the top does not open at all.
Unlike the BB Cream, which takes a bit of time to get absorbed, the BB Stick is much easier to blend in. I generally use a normal foundation all over my skin, or my general garnier BB Cream and then apply the BB Stick on areas where I have problems like blemishes and open pores. This does effectively cover them, along with pores. I have noted that it does provide a very flattering, flawless effect on the skin, and since it contains SPF it helps in reducing blemishes caused by sun tan.
This product can provide light to medium coverage, and can be layered on to fill pores. It is a dream to be blended in, and it does give the skin a lovely, matte-finish, which looks, to say the very least, very good. On my warm skin, this product is perfect as a base for my blusher, as it retains my blusher for a longer period of time. It also covers the problem areas around my mouth, and can easily replace my compact on the days when I just do not want to use it.
The biggest issue I probably have with the stick is the non-availability of colors. I wish Maybelline would bring out a couple more shades so that dark to very fair-skinned oily and combination skinned women would be benefitted by this. The product has not done me any skin damage till now… in fact, I have noted that it has not broken me out at all and has gone a way to reduce my blemishes. Maybe that’s the Salicylic acid working? It also lasts me about 6-8 hours, depending on the amount I sweat. However, I have noted that my face sweats less and glows more when I put this on, so brownie points there.

- Blends like a dream

What I don’t like about Maybelline ClearGlow BB Stick Shade 04 Fawn:-
