Maybelline Color Show Lip Color Iced Coral
The color show range of lipsticks from Maybelline has been a hit for me purely for the variety of shades they offer at a reasonable price. It seems they have released some new shades. I had gone to buy kajal as usual to the local health and glow store, the friendly SA called and showed me 2 new shades, I bought them instantly 🙂

My take on the Maybelline Color Show Lip Color Iced Coral:
The color is nowhere near to coral. It looks peachy when applied. The color is frosted but gorgeous in my opinion. One swipe deposits full color on the lips. It covers light lip pigmentation. This will be a very subtle peachy nude for light to medium beauties but dusky beauties may test as it may wash them out. My roomie got one for her after testing this out and she liked how the color fared on her lips. This stays on for like 4 – 5 hours on me with drinking and light snacking.
Coming to the texture it is very creamy and owing to the creaminess, the color somewhat applies streakily. I have to use my fingers to blend the lipstick.
Being frosted and creamy, it gives my lips a fuller look and nixes the need of a gloss. The color will go with every outfit, make up look, no makeup look and is apt for office too.
Exfoliation of lips is a must prior to applying this shade because though it is creamy and keeps the lips soft, it highlights flaky lips and the color will not blend properly, how much you try. It transfers on to everything your lip touches but not insanely 🙂
What I like about Maybelline Color Show Lip Color Iced Coral:
- Smells like a candy
- Very flattering frosty peachy nude shade.
- Creamy texture
- Extremely affordable!
- Beautiful sleek casing.
- Lasts fairly long
- Does not bleed!
- Covers light lip pigmentation
- Semi- matte
- Does not stain
What I don’t like about Maybelline Color Show Lip Color Iced Coral:
- Highlights dry lips and flakes if not applied on clean exfoliated lips
- May break from the base, lipstick is soft
Do I recommend? Yes I do, I had never like frosted lipsticks but this one looks good on my lips and my first frosted lipstick ever. You may like 🙂
