My experience with Maybelline ColorShow Lipstick Fuchsia Fantasy:
Packaging:Â The lipstick comes in a shiny black plastic packaging and the cap click shuts firmly. The packaging actually takes you to the days when usually all lipsticks had this black colored rectangular packaging, typical old school types.
The best feature of the packaging of this lipstick is the shiny colored band that shows the color family of the lipstick.
The color coded stickers at the bottom of the lipstick makes it easy to detect the color in your stash
Texture:Â The lipstick has a very soft, creamy and smooth texture. This shade has got some micro shimmers which does not hinder its creamy texture at all and do not make it chunky. Infact they are not even visible much, but all they do is to get together and give a shiny look to lips, or rather should I say a little frosty look.
Shade: The shade belongs to fuchsia family but is not exactly a fuchsia shade and leans more towards pink. It is basically a blend of fuchsia and pink. Fair to medium skin tones will carry this shade well.
Pigmentation: This shade goes semi opaque in a single swipe and get good color in two swipes. Just two swipes and you have gorgeous flush of color. I would not suggest multi layering or else the lipstick may look a little streaky.
My Take: I quite like this shade, it is not a bright fuchsia shade and indeed is a toned down fuchsia shade with a blend of pink. This makes this shade more wearable by ladies, as all may not like to flaunt a bright fuchsia but a tone down fuchsia a great choice.
I love the texture; it goes smooth, does not dry lips and does not feel heavy on lips too. The color pay off too is decent and I have absolutely no complains here.
The lipstick stays on for 4 hours and there after your lips have a strong tint which continues to stay on lips till the time I remove it with a makeup remover.
What I Like About Maybelline ColorShow Lipstick Fuchsia Fantasy:

- Color coded stickers makes it easy to identify the color.
- Sturdy packaging.
- Decent staying power.
- Does not dry lips.
- Does not bleed.

- Total value for money.
What I Don’t Like About Maybelline ColorShow Lipstick Fuchsia Fantasy:
- Looks little frosty.
- May not suit all skin tones.
Will I Recommend: Yes, you can definitely try this shade. Considering the price it is a steal.
