Hello people,

I am back here again with a Red lipstick today. I cannot thank Maybelline enough for including so much of reds in their ColorShow range. They have almost every kind of red in this range and I have happened to like almost all of these. Today I shall review shade Red Rush from this range which is a gorgeous warm toned red.

Maybelline RED RUSH ColorShow Lipstick

My experience with Maybelline ColorShow Lipstick Red Rush:

Packaging: The lipstick comes in a shiny black plastic packaging and the cap click shuts firmly. The packaging actually takes you to the days when usually all lipsticks had this black colored rectangular packaging, typical old school types.

The best feature of the packaging of this lipstick is the shiny colored band that shows the color family of the lipstick.

The color coded stickers at the bottom of the lipstick makes it easy to detect the color in your stash

Texture: The lipstick has a very soft, creamy and smooth texture. This shade is sans any shimmer which is good thing since I do not like shimmers much. The lipstick goes on smooth on lips. Similar to many other lipsticks form this range, this lipstick too has a slight hint of frostiness.

Shade: Red rush is a beautiful warm red which I absolutely adore. I lipstick at times looks like it has some hints of orange to it. This is like a must have shade of red.

Pigmentation: This shade is heavily pigmented. Just a single swipe and you get opaque color. I love the pigmentation of this lippy.

My Take: I love these lippies, especially for the quality offered at this price and this lipstick is no exception.

The texture of this lippy is super smooth and I love such creamy application. The pigmentation too fared very well with its good color pay off. Pigmented lips will be happy with this lipstick.

I am very much in love with this shade. A perfect red shade, I think the picture did not do full justice to the shade of this lippy but trust me I tried really hard to capture it. This shade just brightens up my face and I feel I am all set to go without any hint of face makeup.

The lipstick stays of easy 4 hours and leaves a strong tint behind. I love the tint that it leaves behind and the fact that the tint is not uneven, so after four fours my lips have a lip stain.

How cool is this, isn’t it? Before you say no, just remember the price.
