Eyebrows are the most defining features of our face and we should always define our eyebrows when doing our eye makeup. Even Sonakshi Sinha defines her eyebrows in her daily makeup and beauty routine. We have always overlooked this feature on our face but not anymore. Eyebrow pencils and pomades are ruling the beauty industry right now and all thanks to brands like Maybelline, we have some of the best eyebrow enhancers in town. And today, I am reviewing an eyebrow pencil from the brand Maybelline which is their Fashion Brow Cream Pencil in the shade Grey. Dig in!
What the product claims:
“Creamy and super blendable. This brow pencil gives you the most natural looking brows ever! With the improved formula, you can now have lasting brows up to 12 hours. Available in brown and grey.”
The brow that stays wow.
– Seamless blending
– 12hr wear
– Exclusive heat-proof
– Longwearing formula
How to use it:
STEP 1: Shape your brows with the pencil.
STEP 2: Use tiny and feather-light strokes to fill in your brows
175 INR for 0.78 gms
Available in 2 shades – Brown and Grey. This post is about the grey colour.
The texture is neither too creamy nor too dry. A perfect one to work with. It glides on smoothly without giving much pressure and works really well on the brows. It doesn’t make the brows dry.
The product is decently pigmented but you need 2-3 strokes to get the colour. Wish it were more pigmented!
The packaging of the product:
The Maybelline Fashion Brow Cream Pencil comes in a grey wooden form. Information related to the product has been provided on a plastic cover, but this information gets destroyed once you remove this cover which is a big con. This pencil is neither retractable nor a sharpener is provided which is a big issue for using it. I would have preferred a retractable pencil rather than this.
What I feel about the Maybelline Brow Cream Pencil Grey:
Maybelline Fashion Brow Cream Brow Pencil is available in two shades – grey and brown. The colour is perfect for Indian skin tones and is a beautiful deep grey colour works perfectly on any medium skin tone with black-brown brows. It won’t look overpowering if applied in the right amount. The colour is neither too pigmented nor very less pigmented and is buildable, perfect to work on!
What I like about the Maybelline Brow Cream Pencil Grey:
- Affordable and pocket-friendly
- Haulable packaging
- Will suit most Indian brow colours
- Smooth and easy to work with
- Doesn’t smudge
- Easy to define brows
- Can be used by beginners too
- Good staying power
- Makes brows well-defined and easy to fill in
What I Don’t like about the Maybelline Brow Cream Pencil Grey:
- Only two shades are available which is really a con
- No sharper is there
- Pigmentation is not up to the mark
- Not that great for sweaty skin.
Yes, I will recommend this to all my beautiful readers. Affordable yet works great. Why not?
