Maybelline Lash Sensational Washable Mascara Blackest Black
Mascaras are our favourite and are an important part of our everyday makeup look. If you don’t feel like wearing some kohl/liner on some days, just curl your lashes and apply some of your favourite mascaras and you are good to go. Mascaras make your eyes look wide awake and give a very beautiful popping effect to the lashes. And when it comes to Mascaras, my favourite hands down is Maybelline. This brand is insane when it comes to launching products and I have all the variants in my kitty – Colossal, Hypercurl, Falsies, Barbie and Push up along with this. I love their mascaras because they make my eyes look pretty. And if you are a fan of Maybelline mascaras too, then this post will surely excite you a lot. Reviewing Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. Read on!
What the product claims:
Lash Sensational® Washable Mascara is available in 3 shades. This fresh liquid formula captures lashes from root to tip for a full-fan effect. Exclusive fanning brush with ten layers of bristles reveals layers of lashes for a sensational full-fan effect. Ophthalmologist tested. Suitable for contact lens wearers.
INR 499 for 9.5 ml.
The packaging of the mascara is like all other mascaras from the brand except for the dull colour. Though I love the colour and find it to be really decent, it is not girly like the Colossal or the Falsies one. I feel the colour will not be a great favourite for girls who love a bright colour packaging. All the details including a full-fledged ingredient list are there on the back which is a super yay! I feel all products should have their own ingredient list mentioned as it helps the user a lot. Overall, the packaging is classy and looks really elegant in the kitty.
The texture is really smooth and glides on well. The mousse texture will not lead to any tugging or pulling the product in any way.
The colour of the mascara is the blackest black which means a single coat of layer is needed to get the desired effect. It is indeed really black but washable which means you can get Panda Eyes if you get drenched. (It is available in a waterproof version too)
The wand has a fan-like shape which gives a sensational effect to the lashes for sure. The wand makes the multiple layers of the lashes de-clumped and it makes my lashes look like as if they are on steroids. I don’t wear false lashes but this looks tempting!
What I feel about the product:
Well, if I get to describe the product in a sentence then I am totally in love -hate relationship with this mascara. Yes! Maybelline is always my favourite brand when it comes to makeup and I am definitely a little biased to all Maybelline products but this one surely disappointing!  Although, this mascara is quite affordable and haul-able. and It has a great fan applicator that is easy to work with but even after having right from texture, pigmentation, amazing color payoff., it fails totally on my eyes! The clumping effect really puts me off, plus it flakes after drying and non-water resistant part of the mascara (which is not their fault of course!). Other than that, I don’t find a single thing that is worth of buying! Maybelline , are you listening?
What I like about the product:
- Â Fanning brush wand with 10 layers of bristles
- Suitable for contact lens wearers
- Ophthalmologically tested
- Applicator is really easy to work with
- Pigmentation is insane
- Texture is really smooth so no tugging and pulling.
What I don’t like about the product:
- Washable, so will come off when comes in contact with water.
- Give clumpy effect which looks pathetic
- Give slightly itchy effect to my sensitive eyes.
- Flakes as the day progresses
- Waste of money.
Yes, I won’t recommend this mascara to anyone of you. Â Market is loaded with tons of good quality mascaras , you can give a try to to Falsies one. But I will suggest you to skip this one totally. I mean, who’ll pay for the clumpy lashes! I’ll stick to my Million lashes mascara by L’oreal.
Rating-2/5 (+2 For the texture and opacity)
