It all started when I got a mail from a lady named Cynthia. I remember her comments on the blog and her cribbing about MAC and how expensive it is in Australia and how much she loved her kids. However, coz of the time gap between two countries and with her two little angels, I used to get her comments intermittently only.
One day she mailed me and asked me to meet when she comes to Hyderabad and I was all in for it! She was coming after 5 years from Australia and she wanted to meet me – it really made me feel special and I happily agreed to it.
And when we met today we chatted like long lost friends. Cynthia is so humble and sweet that I was just floored by her sweetness.
These are her two angels and I must tell you the elder one is so understanding, obedient and soft spoken that I came back home and told my husband how I wish to raise my kids like Cynthia 🙂
I told her to pose this way and that way and she was laughing over my fashion photography skills :D:D
Cynthia showed me all the duty free things which she got while coming back to India and these nine Revlon super lustrous lipsticks she got them in just 50 Aus dollars.
And this is what she bought on her stopover to Malaysia. Can you believe how much of MAC this is. There were two paint pots, 3-4 lipsticks, 5-6 eye shadows and oil control lotion etc etc.:drool: She made her full shopping list before leaving Australia and all products she got were well researched.
She also gifted me the following products which include nail art stickers, polishes , lip gloss compact, eyeshadow palette, EA perfume etc and I was just so over whelmed by her gesture. I couldn’t believe that some one who I have hardly spoken to will get these things for me. I remember few months back she used to ask me which nail paint I would like to buy which have thin brushes and I used to suggest her thinking she wants to buy them for herself but actually she was doing it for me. This was just so unexpected and left me speechless.
When I asked Cynthia why she did she got so much for me she replied that she wanted to make me feel special. Now I couldn’t resist from getting her few products which she won’t get in Australia but hears about them on Indian blogs quite often. I got her Vichy 2 in 1 cleanser, Lakme lip love conditioner, Lakme metallic eyeliners in jade and purple, Lotus 3 in 1 matte sunscreen, Lakme bronzer, Lakme liquid eyeliner, nail art tool, Revlon lip gloss etc . I hope they products will give her some good impression of makeup products in India 🙂
It’s not about the gifts which we exchanged but what makes me happy is the love which I get from people whom I have never even met in my entire life if Wise She wouldn’t have been there.
Thank you Cynthia it was such a pleasure meeting you 🙂
