MUA Makeup Academy Blusher Shade 1

Helloooo,

Today I am here to share a blusher from MUA. WiseShe sponsored this blush for me as I am not too aware of blushes and hardly use on my own! Also because I had no makeup brushes prior to WiseShe I was clueless about how to go with it but Zara’s How To Apply Blush video on Youtube helped me a lot and I am taking baby steps in learning to apply blush! 🙂

Part of our amazing £1 line, our blushers come in six shades. They range from pink and coral to deeper plums and natural nudes so you’ll definitely find one that suits you the most! Although to be honest with you, at £1 there’s no reason why you shouldn’t own all six! Just simply sweep across the apples of the cheek and up to the brow bone to create a soft yet beautiful contour. Gorge!

My Experience with MUA Makeup Academy Blusher Shade 1

Packaging: The blushes are packed as rectangular in shape with a transparent lid. the other details are mentioned at the back of the blush pan. It is travel friendly and can be easily carried in your small clutch!

Shade: The shade no.1 is mainly a warm toned peach pink shade which will suit most skin tones and will look very natural!

Texture: The texture of this powder blush is soft but not that smooth. It tends to look a little powdery when swiped on the hand. It looks a little decent when blended properly! The powder texture is good for oily / combination skin tones rather than dry skin beauties!

My Take: This blush shade is just what I wanted. I am a novice with blush and so I definitely want my blush to look the most natural and less makeup! This blush comes out to have a medium pigmentation and you need 2-3 swipes to get a hint visible on the apples of your cheeks.

The blush easily blends on my normal skin which is more oilier during humid months of the year! I pick up blush 1-2 times with the blush brush and then blend it thoroughly!

I prefer using a compact powder after applying blush to make the blush look more natural as per my complexion! 🙂

The blush tends to stay for around 3-4 hours easily in air conditioned space. If you are going out during the day I think it won’t stay for more than 2-2.5 hours!

A lot of blush powder comes off when the blush brush is swirled softly! It leads to product wastage! 🙁

It sets within a 10-20 seconds after application and looks very nice! Overall, I have no major cons for this blush and I am using it more often nowadays!
