Must Have Vitamins For Hyper Pigmentation

Hyper pigmentation is a common skin condition where patches of skin become darker in color than the normal surrounding skin. This is mainly caused by increased melanin on those particular areas. Now Melanin is the class of pigment responsible for producing colors in the body in places such as skin, eyes and hair. Too much melanin may be secreted and concentrated at one point of the skin and that’s what we call hyper pigmentation.

Hyper pigmentation is caused by sun damage, inflammation or other skin injuries. Even acne can result to skin pigmentation.

Vitamin A

As I have said in my introductory lines, excessive exposure of the skin to the sunlight causes UV and UVB radiations to damage the skin and result in hyper pigmentation. Skin rashes, redness, sun spots, inflammation and other pigmentations and skin abrasions can be treated by using vitamin A.

Remember, only applying these externally won’t help much. Start taking supplements (obviously after consulting your doctor) and foods that are rich in Vitamins mentioned above. Thus you can boost the body’s immunity against most of the internal and external conditions.
