My experience with & Lipice Lip Balm And Lipglosses Review

By Mitra,

Hello beauties…Happy Sunday Morning !!!

This probably is my first review of something or anything at all. Last time Anu surprised me plesantly by posting the pallatte. Thanks Anu, this gives me the courage to write a review.
So here it goes,
Lip Ice Lip Balm Review
LipIce– I got these after looking up the ad that was running on the sidebar. Found it quite interesting and who doesnot like a phoren-ka-maal.:D:D..right,this is a made in Japan lipbalm.
As of now i got two variants of this. The marketing people actually sent one of their execuives to my home and got it delivered!! Reason they are still not on the shelves. But they will soon be available in Helth & Glow stores is what the exec told me. I liked their service.
Sad that they are not launching their Lip-glosses and other colours in their tinted balms now, they would be out in last Aug-Sep’11. As per their website they has a good rage of tinted lipbalms.
Now coming to the review, true to the name-Lip “ICE” actually gives you a very cool sensation the moment you apply it onto your lips. Thanks to the fact that it has “Mentholatum” as the main ingredient. It stays for a good 5 mins then its your normal lip-balm.
Now what makes it different from other balms is that fact that it has SPF-15 and it is one of the most moisturisibg lip balms I have used (considering that i have eused almost every lipbalm available) :D:Dthe only other balm that can compete with the moisturising effect of this one is the Neutrogena balm.
Lip Ice lip balm review
LipIce doesnot feel sticky or leave a thick film at all. And no shiny or slimy look either. I like it.
The variant Orange, which is their regular balm is your plain white looking balm. The other one is a white looking one too but on application it turns pinkkkk.. And oh God what a lovely pink it is. Its like MLBB pink!! And i am TOTALLY in love with this “Sheer Colour LipIce”. And the colour is builable.
Lip ice orange review
The other variant available with the exec were different flavours of the regular balm Fruity are – Orange(the one i got) , Strawbeery, Lemon, Apple, Black current. And believe me folks, when they say flavour they actually mean it!! It smells so much of the flavour they represent.
Ingredients of Sheer Colour: Isopropyl Palmitate, Polybutene, Mineral Oil, Petrolatum,Ozokerite, Beeswax, Microcrystalline wax, Octyl Methoxycinnamite, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate,  Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Cl 454101:1, BHT, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Retinyl Palmitate, Zea Mays Seed oil.

Please note it has aloe vera, Retinyl( best anti-agening), Corn oil(Zeamays) Beeswax, Oxctyl Methoycinnamate( sunscreen agent). So me all happies with the ingredients.

  1. wow…the pink is so lovely…..I never used any other lipbalm except nivea…have seen their ads and they look interesting so hope they come soon so I can pik them up at H&G…

  2. I love tinted lip balms..waiting for these to hit the stores..the sheer one looks so pretty! Its a better alternative to the glosses(that would cost around Rs 400-500) that have the same effect…they adapt to the pH of your lips and acquire tint on application.
