Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm Peach

Hey people,

I recently showed you all a glimpse of all Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balms and I now think it is the perfect time to start with the reviews. Honestly I am very familiar with these lip balms since I have used these before, so much so that I do not remember the exact count, so doing these reviews is like recalling the old love of mine for these lip balms.

NIVEA Fruity Shine Peach

To start with the review series of these lip balms I have chosen the variant PEACH. Peach is the least tinted lip balm out of these six but the amazing peachy scent takes my heart away. Dig in to know more.

My experience with Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm Peach:

Packaging: This tinted lip balm by Nivea comes in white plastic bodies that work with retraceable mechanism and has color coded caps. There is nothing very new in the packaging other than the imprinted image of the respective fruit variant. I quite like the slant shape of the cap actually, which makes it look a little better than the years old horizontal cap packaging.

NIVEA Fruity Shine LipBalm Peach

Texture: It has a balmy texture, which in any way it is supposed to have. It is very light on lips and feels non sticky even after multiple swipes. It has very fine shimmer particles which add a gorgeous shine to lips.

Fragrance: It has a yummy fragrance of fresh peaches. I like this scent and love to sniff this balm more than to apply only because of the yummy fruity fragrance, if it had any taste I would have surely eaten it 😛

Tint Pay Off: I have major issues with Nivea on this front. It would have been better if they promoted this variant of lip balm as a non tinted lip balm since there is very very minute tint that does not ever show up on lips, no matter how many swipes you apply.

My Take: I have always liked Nivea for their lip balms but for this particular Peach variant I have mixed feelings.

The lip balm has a very fabulous texture and fragrance but when it comes to tint, it fails severely. Come on, where is the tint???

For the hand swatches, I literally swiped the lip balm numerous times to show some color in pictures but when applied to lips, even this effort fails in bringing the evident peach tint, there is just that very tiny bit of hint that shall also be gone in few minutes.

But the good thing is, you can apply this lip balm beneath lipsticks since it almost devoid of any tint.

On moisturizing abilities, the lip balm stays for 2-3 hours max, and if you happen to have a drink any earlier, then this will gone on that very moment. Re-application is always required.

The lip balm fares well in moisturizing but do not expect it to heal chapped and dry lips since it is very light and in no way will heal them.

What I Like About Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm Peach:

  • Nice, sturdy packaging.
  • Light texture.
  • Amazing fruity fragrance.
  • Shimmer particles add beautiful shine to lips.

What I Don’t Like About Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm Peach:

  • Will not heal dry and chapped lips.
  • Needs frequent re application.
  • There is very negligible tint.

Rating: 3/5

Will I Recommend: If you are on a look out for a peach tint in lip balm then this lip balm is certainly not recommended. It is only recommended to people looking for a sweet smelling non tinted lip balm.
