My experience with Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm Strawberry:

Packaging: This tinted lip balm by Nivea comes in white plastic body that work with retractable mechanism and has color coded caps. There is nothing very new in the packaging other than the imprinted image of the respective fruit variant. I quite like the slant shape of the cap actually, which makes it look a little better than the years old horizontal cap packaging.

Texture: It has a balmy texture, which in any way it is supposed to have. It is very light on lips and feels absolutely non-sticky even after multiple swipes. It has very fine shimmer particles which add a gorgeous shine to lips and are not at all chunky.

NIVEA Fruity Shine Lip Balm STRAWBERRY

Fragrance: Nivea Fruity Shine – Strawberry has a fruity fragrance. Unlike other lip balms from this collection I am a bit unhappy with its aroma, it smells of a mix of cosmetic fragrance and strawberry, I would have loved a pure aroma of fresh strawberries.

Tint Pay Off: This lip balm has got an orangey red tint which can be intensified with multiple swipes, but it will stay sheer with numerous swipes too.

My Take: This lip balm is just a fine lip balm with slightest of tint.

It has a very fabulous texture and fragrance. The lip balm looks quite deep in shade in the bullet but on lips they go sheer, I really wanted a redder tint than the orangey red tint. The shimmer particles are evident with closer look but the thing that makes me cringe is that the shimmers even transfers to areas near lips, you can see on my upper lip some shimmers, and it is only being just half an hour of application.

The lip balm stays until you drink or eat anything. It moisturizes lips and keeps them moisturized for 2 hours max and will certainly not work in healing dry and chapped lips.

Overall the lip balm is good for keeping lips moisturized with a slight hint of color, which does not make lips feel heavy or sticky.

What I Like About Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm Strawberry:

  • Nice, sturdy packaging.
  • Light texture.
  • Shimmer particles add beautiful shine to lips.

What I Don’t Like About Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm Strawberry:

  • Will not heal dry and chapped lips.
  • Shimmer particles transfer.
  • Needs re application after every 3 hour.

Rating: 3/5

Will I Recommend: I do not like this lip balm variant much and will neither recommend it unless you are looking for an economic sheer orangey red tinted lip balm.
