NYC HD Color Trio Eye Shadow 782 Bronzed In Brooklyn

My feelings towards NYC HD color Trio eye shadow Bronzed in Brooklyn are close to disheartening because it fetched me none and at the same it isn’t a hole in the pocket. Tune in to know how it fared!

I actually fell for the color selection and packaging, in fact anybody would have! The packaging is sturdy and classy in a black glossy plastic case with transparent lid through which you can see the shades.

The shade selection of this trio is awesome and to my taste it is a Go To palette. The perfect all over, crease and highlighting shades for brown eyes.

It comes with a cute brush which is of no use to me as it is too small to create any dimension, may be we can save this brush to smudge kohl because it feels soft and perfect for that job.

The texture is a pure blunder, it no way feels you can make it work. I tried and failed of course and it is that bad. It is extremely powdery and ashy (lighter shades) and has minuscule of shimmer infused in it which is not visible to naked eye but captured by my camera after making the thickest swatch I ever can.

This has poor/bad/gross pigmentation I have ever come across, it is just not useful as an eye shadow and I mean it.

The middle shadow is the darkest and is slightly pigmented but even that doesn’t show up on your lids. To my knowledge, I find lighter shades all over lid more pleasing instead of a darker shade as how they recommended. Weird recommendation, isn’t it?

Lasting power is minimal which I didn’t care because they haven’t fared to show up on my lids in the first place, and they do tend to fall out while application which is another put off.

May be it is a trio that works well on cool or palest skin tones, however with this kind of texture and pigmentation I wouldn’t be sure with that point.

I have tried it to make it work several times and it never seemed to be kind enough to show up or behave as a good eye shadow, so I decide to move on to my pros and cons
