Packaging-These blushes comes in a geometrical pattern as you can clearly see in the picture. The blush is housed in a black compact type of case with a transparent upper cap which shuts tightly and secures the blush. The packaging is great and compact. It can be easily carried in a small clutch too and the compact doesn’t opens on its own unless alight effort is put on it.
Shade & Texture-I got the shade Dusty Rose and as the name suggests, it a light rosy pink shade which is very muted and has nude undertones to get the perfect rosy cheeks without making them look very obvious.
The blush is basically powder blush and powder blushes has mainly soft pressed powder kind of consistency which are perfectly milled to get a fine texture so as to give a smooth application and also doesn’t look obvious on the cheeks.
My Experience with NYX Powder Blush In Dusty Rose PB02
Well, I have an acute addiction for powder blushes as I have a combination skin with an oily t- one but during winters it generally remains on a drier side. I am not particularly fond of any single formulation of blush like powder or cream blush and I use as per my choice and how well they suit my skin tone.
The moment I spotted this blush shade I was like this is going to really look great on my complexion and I have to definitely get hold of this.
Well, true to my instinct this blush surely lives up to the claims made and it suits me well.
The powder texture is really fine and easily blends on the skin without looking flaky at all. The shade is really apt for the fresh pinch of blush that looks very natural and the winters season being the best to flaunt such fresh blush on yourself!
The staying power of this blush shade is great and it stays on for like 3+ hours without making my face look shiny at all. Also winter season tends to make the skin a little dry but proper moisturization and makeup primer make the blush look as it I am not wearing any blush and its just the flush of blood on my cheeks due to the chilly winter breeze.
