Hi Everybody,

My Experience with Olay White Radiance Intensive Brightening  serum:-

  • Packaging: The serum comes in a cylindrical pump dispenser. It has a vacuum mechanism, as the serum is dispensed, the base inside moves up, this ensures minimum product wasteage.
  • Texture & Consistency: It has the right serum consistency, neither runny nor thick. To be precise its somewhere in between a fluid & gel.
Firstly, the packaging is classy yet very sturdy. You can literally throw it around, it won’t break. The pump effectively crushes the beads & it’s nicely infused in the serum. Very effective packaging. The brightening serum glides on smoothly & gets absorbed easily, it appears to form a film as soon as applied, but evaporates quickly. Feels very light on the skin. The serum is hydrating & leaves behind a subtle glow. Perfect for oily skinned girls. It’s also very versatile, can be used anytime during the day or night.

Coming to the results, it claims to reveal bright skin from within by fading dark spots & evening out skin tone. I haven’t noticed any such improvement, even after prolonged usage. This is the reason I used to switch to others, it couldn’t help with exactly what it claimed. But apart from this one point it’s worked wonderfully for me. I love the dewy look it imparts & it’s hydrating without making my skin oily. The quantity is amazing it will go on for very long, I feel it’s worth the price.

Most products from Olay have faired very well. This is a very mild serum & should suit all skin types. It’s the best packaged product I have ever used, sturdy, light & user friendly. Most appropriate for oily & combination skin. Can also be used by girls with dry skin since it’s very hydrating.

What I liked about Olay White Radiance Intensive Brightening  serum:-

  • Superb packaging
  • Ensures minimal product wastage
  • Very travel friendly
  • Reasonably priced for the quantity
  • Easily absorbed
  • Hydrating
  • Imparts a glow
  • Can be used at day/night
  • Very mild.

What I did not like about Olay White Radiance Intensive Brightening  serum:-

  • Doesn’t brighten skin as claimed
  • Did not fade dark spots or acne marks
  • No significant improvement even after consistent use
  • Doesn’t fulfil all it’s claims
  • Misleading title.
RATING: 3.5/5
The Olay White Radiance Intensive Brightening  serum is a nice everyday hydrating serum, but don’t expect miracles to happen. Don’t be fooled by it’s name or claim!
Will I Recommend & Repurchase the Olay White Radiance Intensive Brightening  serum: Oh yes, will recommend it to all, specially for girls with oily skin. I seem to keep going back to it.

Have you tried Olay White Radiance Advanced Fairness Intensive Brightening Serum ?

  1. i have used this serum, i felt it kind of worked for me for a short while then it stopped working, just gave a nice luminous glow and ya foundi glides well on it, initially i felt it brightened my skin, later thr was no such effect

  2. Niharika Nice review dear 🙂

Its so costly na 🙁 besides does’t fulfill what it claims. You can still use it under foundations.. coz it will work as a primer then 😛 😉

    • Serum shud be used after cleansing and toning and before moisturizer. So the order goes:
Serums penetrate deeper into the skin and helps to absorb ur moisturizer better. So if u use a serum before a moisturizer, it’ll make ur regular moisturizer double effective. That’s why it’s great for dry skin. Those with oily skin can use a hydrating serum and even skip moisturizer. Hope that was clear 🙂

    • Serum can be used before moisturizer. But in day time if you are moving outside it can makes little greasy post moisturizer. Better use serum daily before bed time pre – night cream… I have dry skin and I use this way regular 🙂

  3. Lovely review Niharika. I was eyeing this but since it doesn’t help with dark spots I don’t think it’s worth it :-/ Very nicely explained 🙂

  4. I wish reviews would also provide photos of the effects of the serum on the skin. Yes, describing the consistency and the thickness of the cream is important but we are after on how the cream looks on our faces. That is the reason why we buy the serum.
