I always prefer changing my shampoo every 2-3 months. I do this because of a reason. When your hair gets used to a product its effects start wearing off. So always make sure you keep changing your hair products for better results. It was time for my new shampoo so I went to the drug store to pick something up. This is when I came across the new “Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Shampoo and Conditionerâ€. It looked new and the SA said it was getting good reviews, so I figured why not give it a try.
About Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner:
An exclusive blend of antioxidant rich coconut oil along with lush keratin proteins to strengthen and soften the hair, while avocado oil and cocoa butter smooth the cuticle for straight, strong tresses, adding a brilliant glow and a luminescent shine.
My take on Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner:
The shampoo and conditioner come in a light brow colored pot like plastic bottle with a golden color flip type cap. The packaging is sturdy but is big, so I am sure will be very inconvenient for travel. I really hope they introduce smaller quantities. The shampoo is transparent with a mild gold tint, which is of semi solid consistency.
The conditioner is almost a mild shade of mustard, which has the consistency of a thick cream. The shampoo and conditioner both smell similar to roasted coconut. It smells almost divine and lingers around even for a few hours after the shower. How I wish it lasted longer.
The shampoo does not lather much giving us a clear idea that it does not contain too much SLS (which is a good thing of course). Even though it doesn’t lather just a little quantity is sufficient for a clean wash. With the application of the conditioner it leaves your hair smooth, shiny and voluminous. I claims to control frizz which it does not, in fact no shampoo has ever done that bit for me.
What I like about Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner:
- Great smell
- Sturdy packaging
- Leaves your hair smooth and shiny
- Cleans the hair effectively in just one wash
- Contains minimum quantity of SLS
What I don’t like about Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner:
- very very expensive
- wish they had smaller sized packages
Overall Rating: 4/5
Final verdict: I think it is a really great product and even though it lives up to most of its claims it looses out points on the cost. Do give it a try, it will definitely be proved worth it.
