Oriflame Olive and Bamboo Body Cream Review

Hi All,

With winters gaining speed, I am going all out to ensure I am armed with the right lotions and potions to keep dry skin and flakiness at bay…or atleast to a bare minimum. Although I swear by TBS Cocoa Butter at this time, I also admit that at times it feels to heavy and thick at times. So when I saw this lotion in the catalog I thought ‘Why not try it out?’

  • Fragrance – This cream has a very pleasant aqua-like fragrance which is mild and won’t irritate anyone’s noses :)  However, I do wish it were longer lasting…the scent fades off withing 30mins or so 🙁
  • Usage – I just use about a tea spoon worth of product for both my arms. Any more and your skin is likely to get greasy.

oriflame body cream + olive and bamboo

My Verdict:What I liked best about this cream is that it was absorbed quickly into my skin and I didn’t have to wait for this to happen like I do with other body butters. Its light enough and I prefer this kind of texture since I tend to feel a bit constricted if I use a thicker lotion. It moisturizes amazingly well and keeps my skin hydrated for about 3hrs in an air conditioned environment which is commendable. I would recommend this to everyone who have normal to dry skin. Pros for Oriflame Olive & Bamboo Body Cream:   This would be great for both winters and summers.Doesn’t make the skin feel greasy at allPackaging is sturdy and travel friendly.Quite inexpensive for the quantity we get.Pleasant fragrance which won’t bother anyone.Helps moisturize my skin and keeps it this way for a long time.

Cons for Oriflame Olive & Bamboo Body Cream:

  • Would have been more hygienic in tube form
  • Wish the fragrance would last longer

  4. This sounds nice..although I am little skeptical about this Olive Bamboo range. My husband tried the olive and bamboo shampoo and conditioner and it ws truly awful. Now I use it to clean my makeup brushes :-P. This however sounds good. Will give this a try

    • oh i agree Parul..the shampoo actually made my scalp itch! didnt try the conditioner tho…i did try their body scrub and i liked it. apart form the fact that the fragrance doesnt last long at all, it was very moisturizing despite being a scrub 🙂
