Oriflame TeaTree Purifying Blemish Solver Experience

Packaging:

It comes in a translucent, green cylindrical tube with a tiny screw cap that ensures zero spillage. It’s slim (slightly thicker than a pen) and will fit easily into the smallest of purses. The applicator is a small, round net-like material through which the product is dispensed. This controls the flow of the product but it’s such a pain to use! Most of the time, I have to press the applicator with my fingernail to get some product out. Earlier this used to come in a squeezy plastic case that was far easier to use. Also, I find the process of dotting it directly onto pimples very unhygienic.

Product Description:

It is a light greenish liquid which comes out clear when applied onto the skin. It has a very refreshing herbal fragrance that I really like. The fragrance stays for 10 mins or so but is mild and won’t irritate sensitive noses.

Performance:

I’d bought this years ago (when I was in high school I guess) and found it to be really effective. So I re-purchased it with a lot of high hopes. I now have mixed reviews about this product. It works really well sometimes…reduces the intensity of blemishes. Then there are times when I’ve felt that it did nothing at all to my skin. So, all I can say is that it is a matter of trial and error. Since, Oriflame has offers on this frequently, do give it a shot and see if it works for you. And I have to mention that it does what it claims: it does help when you have mild acne and it also worked better when I was a teenager. Sigh! Those were the days…huh?

What I liked about Oriflame Purifying Blemish Solver:

  • Sturdy, spill-proof and travel-friendly packaging
  • Mild yet refreshing herbal scent
  • Reduces intensity of blemishes
  • Heals mild acne
  • Works well on teenage skin
  • Available on offer
  • One tube lasts a long time since very little product is required

What I don’t like about Oriflame Purifying Blemish Solver:

  • Unhygienic application
  • Difficult to dispense product
  • Does not work on all blemishes or moderate acne

Will I re-purchase? I’d like to…if they change the mode of application. Otherwise, I’d rather stick to creams since they are more hygienic to use.

  1. ive seen this many times, but thankfully i dont suffer from extreme acne as of now…ive actually noticed this alot that some of the old ori stuff was much better than the new versions….

  2. Even the lippies…visions wale…the old formula was much much better than d new ones…even the masks…the current ones r so useless…the older ones were soo much much more effective 🙂

  3. I have used it n I didn’t notice anything except dry and flaky skin. Tea tree is not dat advisable for acne as it can be very drying and they don’t evem make a moisturizer in dat range. Oriflame’s pure skin range is a better deal.

  4. @Nafisa, I would recommend the entire range of course not the face wash-scrub. Otherwise everything else makes a bit of sense due to the salicylic acid content.

  5. Any recos for night cream and toner from Oriflame? I have a combi skin, my cheeks are now on the drier side. But I want something which doesn’t break me out. SInce I have the tendency :weep:
